Why is my upgraded one not colour coded?

The inner and fly should have coloured straps that locate the poles, red at the head end and grey at the foot end. If they don't it's faulty, so return it, or a bit of coloured tape will solve the problem.

what is the weight of the fly please?

Hey Jack! It doesn’t say and it is so light my scale doesn’t detect it. I do not use it in summer if it doesn’t rain though, you can pitch the tent without it :)

Have I got this right? If I build this a diffrent way I have more of a vestibule?

Hi. Not sure you can erect the tent in a different way tbh? The vestibule is a decent size and there is 2 of them one either side.
