Works as expected

Installed it in about 2 hours. Had to take the rod off that holds both wheel end bearings. Removed the old broken spring and slid on the new one. Put new cables turned the end bearings to put tension on the cables and tightened down one of the allen screws. Had to adjust tension in the spring. Make sure you have enough weight on the door tension so it will close properly.

comes ready to install just slide it on the pipe tighten the set screws and use a drill or driver to tighten the spring. this step is the most critical step under tight will cause the cables to come of the wheel! over tight will cause the door to stop when it is closing because the sensors think the door had hit an object.When opening the door for the first time stop it often and check the cables to make sure they have tension if they dont lower the door and tighten the spring making sure the cable stays on track. if you over tighten then the door will stop when closing. when you get it adjusted your done EASY!!!

This spring failed 6 months after installation and the seller is hiding behind the Amazon 30 day return policy. Don’t buy this product.

Arrived early and was the exact part we needed. Trying to buy locally would have taken a month to receive and a LOT more money too.
