My Bloodline: Featherstone Academy, Book 1

This is book one in the Featherstone Academy Series and it is just everything. Luna is taken on her 18th birthday and forced into the Featherstone Academy, it’s in her blood. More specifically, it’s her bloodline; her father and her mother both attended the school, and she has no choice but to attend. Featherstone is a school for the underground crime, and every important family has a place at the school and is expected to attend. There’s so much Luna doesn’t know, that’s she’s closed herself off of and has been sheltered from. This is just the beginning. This is a reverse harem academy romance and it has everything. I couldn’t put it down. This is one of the best plot lines I’ve read in awhile. It has it all. The Academy and what it stands for, the deceit, the suspense, all put together and it’s just unpredictable and exactly what I’m looking for. I didn’t know up from down, and definitely didn’t know who to trust. The characters are perfection and absolutely sell this. There’s just nothing better than a perfectly proportioned reverse harem. Each guy brings more than enough to the table and I think I’m in love with all of them. Luna is so fierce, independent and passionate. She’s passionate for those she loves and for what she believes in. She’s Luna “Moon” Steele and I am in awe. Seriously, if you haven’t read this and you enjoy a darker themed RH, don’t wait. I waited, not knowing and now I am kicking myself. This is phenomenal and definitely a great read!

I loveddddd this book. I was searching for a good RH with MM and I have finally found it. Even though the MM is minimal in this book and the spice is medium, I can tell it's going to happen in the future books. I like my books to be slow/medium burn and this book is that ( maybe more medium burn than slow burn). This book kept me at the edge of my seat. I cannot believe I'm just reading this series now. This is exactly what I've been looking for I just hope there is more MM in the future books in the series. You know when a book is soo good you dont know how to put that into words. This is this book. The suspense is everything and you really dont know what will happen. Not to mention the idea i If the plot is unique. The herione is everything. I loved herrrrrr . She's a bad a** but she isn't annoying. She knows how to be smart and stay quiet when she needs to. She's one of my favourite heriones ever. She's the perfect herione. Ticks all the herione boxes for me. She's not perfect as a person, and she has a lot of growing to do but she does have amazing growth throughout the book without it affecting her core personality. It's consistent, and it makes sense based on the circumstances or events in the story. I love her relationship with Red and how it grows. I just adore red. She adds to the book. I also love the relationship she has with Rafe. He is her surrogate father for sure. You can feel it in the pages. I love the guys. All of them they all add something to the group dynamic. Different things. It's 5 stars for me.

And let's not forget Oscar; his ridiculous antics had me laughing out loud. Adding to the fun, Luna's dynamic with her partner-in-crime, Jessica, alias "Red," sprinkles an extra layer of sassy amusement throughout the story. But what about the spice, you ask? Well, it starts off at slightly more than a simmer in the first book, but believe me, it heats up like a sauna as the series unfolds. This book is a treasure trove of secrets, and I was on a mission to unravel each and every one of them. It keeps you fully invested in its captivating world, and KC Kean's world-building talents are nothing short of remarkable. As said in other review, this serie has all the expect aspects of RH story but with some nice plot twists. I liked how all the characters have so much depth and the story is an explosion of action rather than focusing on the romance. Luna is one of my favorite FMC. I would definitely recommend reading!!

Oh my god. This has been in my tbr list for so long that I had forgotten about it. It came into my recommendations yesterday and guess what already done with it and I can't keep the smile, feeling of pride, anguish, pain and love from my fave and heart. What a book KC kean. Just loved the FMC so much . Can't wait to dive into the rest of the books. ❤️

A few minor grammatical imperfections that a grammar nazi like myself can't help but notice (haha), but negligible compared to the excellence that is the overall book. Strong, identifiable characters, a badass FMC who only compromises for the people she cares about, and a storyline filled with hidden intrigue I can't wait to unearth. An amazing start to a series. I look forward to diving straight into the next one.

My Bloodline is the first book in the Featherstone Academy series and follows Luna as she is ripped from her life and taken to Featherstone Academy where she is forced to learn about the history of her bloodline as well as refining her skills in order to eventually take her place in the criminal world. I found this book to be a throughly enjoyable read. I loved the story and the twists and turns when it came to Lunas past and also what was going on in the present. I also liked the characters, Luna was an amazing badass FMC and the guys started growing on me as the story progressed. Overall, this was a great start to the series and a book I’d recommend.
