Plastic housing is brittle and arrived broken. That said, it does exactly what it's advertised to do so a little electrical tape patch-work later I'm content. Not worth the hassle of the return.UPDATE: 6/15/17 - Seller proactively shipped me a replacement *even though* I said it works fine. Upped to 5 stars because the new one doesn't seem brittle at all and because of superior customer service on the seller's part.

This product works exactly as described. Just what I was needing. I can now run my Server headless - but still have a GUI with the installed video card in use with 3D acceleration - on VirtualBox and remotely connected

Works exactly as advertised. I use it on the DVI port of an old Mac Mini Core Solo 1.5Ghz so that I can run Ubuntu Linux as a headless server. This adapter tricks Linux into thinking a real monitor is attached, which makes it much easier to configure a VNC server for over-the-network remote desktop GUI access.
