Pen Control: A Learn with Ladybird Wipe-Clean Activity Book 3-5 years: Ideal for home learning (EYFS)

A great book for learning to write and making first marks. Remember to clean it immediately though or you can’t remove the pen marks.

Excellent little workbook for first pen control. My little boy loved it and found it so fun to use, really handy that it wipes clean to use time and time again, have already noticed an improvement in his pen control

Nice variation of patterns and images. Some trickier than others. Good quality, pen completely rubs out off the pages so lots of use

My 2 4 year old granddaughters love the bright pictures and the activities. They also love that they can rub it out and have another go

This book to help kids develop pen skills has lots of very useful activities. From drawing lines to circles, curves and zig-zags, it is well thought out in terms of the exercises it contains.It's resealable pen holder on the front is also a great idea. You need a specific pen for this book - once with wipe-clean ink, with an eraser on the top - so it's important kids have somewhere to keep the pen safe (as we all know how easily such things can be lost).However, the position of the pen holder appears not to have been well thought out at all. It's a bulky holder, and it is positioned vertically, close to the book spine. This means that the book will not lie flat, as the pen holder creates a bump. It really interferes with the flow of the pen on many tasks, undermining the whole point of the book.If the pen holder was positioned on the outside edge of the book (top, bottom or left-hand side), it would be much less problematic.While the book is great, this flaw is so major that I can't give the product more than three stars.

Loved this, a great first step for preschoolers, however you have to immediately wipe clean or its a nightmare to scrub the pen off later.

My daughter (3) loved the book.

It is my nephew favourite book.
