I go through a lot of reels. Im a fishing guide for blue catfish in Oklahoma. I always try one or two of this brand or that brand and see if they hold up or not. I find fault with most reels I use. Im really really hard on my stuff. I cast as far as I can and they ride in my boat floor getting banged up. So far this reel hasn't had any issues and is my favorite to cast. It casts far with 30lb mono. I have been running two of them for 3 months now and bought another two. Me and other guides are running a different Piscfun bait caster for the big 100lb paddlefish. We use 100lb braid on those and catch multiple fish in the 40 to 100lb range every day. So far those reels are holding up great as well. I just don't understand the brand name Piscfun?? Really??? I should take off a star for that. lol

The drag system is steady and responsive, and the build quality is clearly made to withstand hard use. These reels have taken a beating on long fishing trips, and they still work like they’re brand new.
