Chinese Red Envelopes - "Classic Luck" (Pack of 6)

I bought the red envelop because I like the smaller size and the gold Chinese character. Difficult to find the smaller sized dimensions

They are not gummed as stated on the amazon page. If you want to close them you'll have to use tape or glue. I should have read the dimensions more carefully. These are too small for cash, they're for gift cards. I don't give gift cards, I give checks or cash. If I gave gift cards I guess I'd tape the envelopes closed. They came loose in the amazon envelope with other items. There were only 5. It's possible, but not likely, that one got dropped and inadvertently thrown away. They should put them in an envelope. But no matter - I will give them to the kids to use in craft projects.The good news is they are bright shiny slick red and the gold stands out beautifully. If you give gift cards, and if all you need is to fold over the tops, or if you're going to use a decorative wax stamp to close them, they'll work great for you.
