Pentel 120 A3DX 0.9mm Mechanical Pencil A319

My grandparents had one of these pencils in the little odds and ends bin in their kitchen and was regularly used by my Gran for her crossword puzzles. seeing this online I decided to get and add a red eraser cap to add to my own odds and ends bin. It writes well, the grip is secure and the eraser I added makes it easier to correct my mistakes with sudoku!

I received this timely in a bubble wrapped package. I bought the Pentel A3DX 0.7mm many years ago. It has served me well, I still use it. I originally got it because I could remove the metal clip, as it irritates my hand when I write. This 0.9mm version of the A3DX is the same except the lead is a little thicker. I can't decide which I like to use more. I'm an intense writer and 0.5mm lead keeps breaking when I use it. I have found that 0.7mm works great for everyday writing, it's fine enough to take small notes. The 0.9mm works really great, it's a little bolder and withstands the pressure I put on the lead as I'm writing. It does take some effort and care but I've also put a rubber grip over the black one for extra comfort. Truly the best mechanical pencils I've used.

I am extremely happy with this mechanical pencil that I purchased 2 more. Solid construction and durability, as I use it everyday at work. Lead does not break easily when writing with it. My only complaint is the eraser, you only get one and it's fairly small, but not a deal breaker as I purchased a whole bunch!

i bought 1 of these, specifically because it is such an odd looking pencil (to me).this pencil is very lightweight. i like it a lot.

great pencil with amazing feel, definitely my favorite pencil to render and shade. it also has a pretty cool color with a great metal clip for precision.
