I needed a way toget ethanol free gas from a gas can to my motorcycle. I tried a couple of cheaper pumps but they both broke after only a few uses. I waited a while to post a review of this to make sure it didn't break too. I've had it over a year and it works great. Easy, dependable and no mess.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The reviews seemed to be pretty good that’s why I decided to get this. I’m so glad I did! Where has this been all my life. It is amazing to put 5 gallons of gas in my mower and not have to lift that heavy container. Pump functionality: The pump came on immediately when I pushed it to start it. Pump speed: It’s not super fast but it’s steady and very easy to use Fuel transfer: Very steady on fueling Length: Hose is plenty long enough from garage floor to my two turn mower tanks. Battery life: I removed the batteries once I was done because it’ll be awhile before I need to use it again. Capacity: It pump 5 gallon in no time at all and it got all the gas out of the container.

I have a Fill-Rite 8gpm pump but it is a bit bulky to store and use on my offroad trips. (Great filling up equipment around the property though!) Bought this thinking it would be just OK. Just got back from a 9 day offroad trip in NV. Used it several times to top off from my Nato jerry cans and plastic 5g gas cans. A whole lot slower than the FillRite but it works great! Was very impressed. Really like how the hoses drain back into the gas can once you turn the pump off. Have to juggle the FillRite a bit to get the hoses cleared. Stows away nicely in a standard 50cal ammo can. Probably could have squeezed it into a 30cal box. My only knock is that it seems to suck the batteries dry when not in use. Pumped one 20l can and then the batteries were dead the next day. I took to removing the batteries between fills. No issues after that. (Using new lithium AAs)

Great peoduct

Worked well for the first season of mowing, but now the hose has developed a tear that will be very difficult to patch (see photo). This leak showed up almost a year to the day from when I bought it, so it's likley out of warranty. For those considering purchasing this pump, keep this in mind: the hose is NOT made for longevity. If I knew this last year I wouldn't have bought the pump. Simple as that. Update: After the last review I contacted the company and they ended up sending me a whole new unit. Worked great for a few months, then had the same problem on a different part of the hose (see new photos). I can't be certain but it looks like there are manufacturing defects in the hose and after repeated use these end up becoming leaks. I tried patching one with special plastic adhesive but it ended up leaking less than a week later. I called the company again and they only offered a 15% discount on a new pump. I'm done with them. IF YOU BUY THIS, INSPECT THE HOSE THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE, AND RETURN IT IF YOU SEE ANY DEFECTS!

Very nice product , easy to use , well designed , don’t spill a drop of gas , I use on my boat, much easier than trying to hold an inverted 5 gallon can of gas as it drains into to boat , also excellent for gas yardtools

If you have back issues like me then this pump might be a great addition to your garage. Worked well for fueling my zero turn mower first time. It's easy to use and all you need is 4 AA batteries. Same price as going to the chiropractor and no pain> I am very happy with this purchase

I recommend this little pump. Just got back from our hunting trip. Filling Atvs, trucks, and generators has never been so effortless. All the guy’s thought this pump was fantastic. No more lifting heavy jerrycans of fuel and with the auto shutoff feature you just turn it on and walk away. Four double A’s lasted the two week trip filling four ATV’s everyday plus etc.

It is a great pump, it takes a bit longer than simply pouring out the gas but is way easier. It struggles after -10 but everything battery operated does. Very happy, wish it had some kind of case

The unit transfers fuel quickly from my gas cans to all my needs. The one thing I can say is that the auto stop is really good when filling large tanks but not so good on small ones like lawn mowers. It shuts off when you could get another cup or 2 in those tanks and that matters with small tanks. Not so much in generators or atv's. I'm still not sold on how much these pumps cost, I don't really think they are worth the cost.
