Satisfies the craving!
I really enjoy these. I got three flavors and I use them primarily in the afternoons when cravings hit. The science behind these is solid - you get a little bit of sweetness followed by a palette cleansing zing. The outside of the lozenge is soft and sweet, but not too sweet. The inside is hard and still sweet, but also has a bit of sour to it. This is supposed to take you through the full experience of satisfying the craving, and it works pretty well. Some people might not like the zingy taste and feel as you get past the soft part of the lozenge, but I actually really enjoy it. It's surprising at first, and you think you aren't going to like it because it's very different from the outside of the lozenge. But, it makes my tongue tingle and gives me something to focus on besides being hungry. I like the sensation. My favorite flavor is cinnamon, followed by the chocolate mint. The bags are lightweight but actually contain a good amount of product. I like the fact that they contain real sugar, as I'm not a fan of artificial or chemical sugars. No high-fructose corn syrup either.

and the flavors are fine (though the coffee leaves a strong aftertaste)
Maybe the problem is more with me. I was excited by the concept, and the flavors are fine (though the coffee leaves a strong aftertaste). I am sure that in conjunction with a serious effort, they might help, but they are more dessert than anything else. I found they were great at the end of a meal, but NOT as a snack. At the end of a meal, it was often just the right amount to make me feel like I had eaten a dessert. As a snack, it made me hungrier. They do have a high sugar content, so while I am glad it's not fake sugar, it is not free of sugar.

I did not feel that these stopped any cravings for me at all and the numbing effect was just painful and I often spit them out
I was really looking forward to these after I saw them on Shark Tank. However, I did not feel that these stopped any cravings for me at all and the numbing effect was just painful and I often spit them out. My husband actually loved them too much and ate them like candy. I wish I had just bought a $1 box from the store, instead of wasting money on this.

These are amazing and they really work.
I am one of those people who has to have a "dessert" or a cookie, or something sweet to signal the end of a meal. I am also about 50 pounds overweight and trying to diet. I saw these and thought "Oh, another gimmick for the dieting world." But guess what. I think they are awesome. There are three different flavors. Chocolate Mint, Cinnamon, and Mocha. My favorite is the Mocha. One of these is just enough to give you that feeling that the meal is over. I have no desire to eat two in a row.The outside is coated with chocolate. So as you pop this little lozenge in your mouth, you get a burst of sweet chocolate that fools your brain into thinking "Oh yum... dessert." And that lasts about a minute. Then you get a mouth-refreshing almost-like-you-brushed-your-teeth feeling that cleanses your pallet. Don't chew these. Let them dissolve slowly. Believe me it works!I carry them in my purse. I have some in my desk at work. If I get hungry and want a snack but I know it is not on my meal plan, I eat one of these and the craving/desire/hunger goes away. One could say "Well just eat some candy" but that is the beauty of this. You don't get all the calories. You get that burst of sweet but then you get that great REFRESHING taste and feeling like you just cleaned your mouth. It's so cool.Great invention. I love them.

Helpful... and satisfying
MealEnders is a simple concept. After eating, you place a lozenge in your mouth, letting it dissolve slowly as it signals the end of a meal. We all know it takes time for our stomach to catch up with our mouths, and we often finish eating, but still crave more because our stomach is lagging behind. A MealEnder lozenge gives a chance for your brain to get the signal that you are full. I have used three flavors--Chocolate Mint, Cinnamon and Citrus and have enjoyed all three. The Chocolate Mint and Cinnamon are almost like a dessert--a bit of sweetness which stops the craving for foods I shouldn't eat. MealEnders are useful at those time when you think you want something to eat, but you really aren't hungry. One lozenge helps defeat those mindless cravings.

Terrible and Gimmicky, as well as not suited for hot climates
These are the most useless and gimmicky product I've ever seen. I initially saw them on Shark Tank and unfortunately gave into the hype. They are a chocolate coated candy, and on first use, they melted everywhere on the inside of my expensive bag, forcing me to dump them onto the pavement of a Barnes and Noble parking lot. They also just made the inside of my mouth feel chalky and dry, rather than satiated at the end of a meal, which according to their instructions is the purpose of the product. I felt less comforted and more pissed off that I had a chocolate sticky mess on the inside of my mouth, and ended up chewing gum and drinking water (which satiated my hunger, rather than these 20 calorie candies). The claim is that you can eat as many of these as needed to satiate and signal the end of a meal, but that is a bogus claim, as they are calorically empty foods, and a terrible dietary plan. Would not recommend and believe this is a gimmick.

They do the trick!
I saw these things advertised several times before I decided to give them a try. I am one of those people who feels like I need a sweet at the end of most meals, so I will eat a sweet even if I’m not hungry. I read several reviews on these and I was intrigued, so I bought a bag of the mint chocolate! I read that I needed to just let them dissolve or suck gently on them. I popped one in and it took a few seconds for the outside layer to melts away. The next layer is a very rich, satisfying chocolate layer - sweet tooth satisfied! Now, the crazy part- it turns into a hard candy with a sort of sizzle. Another reviewer compared it to the pop rocks candy of our youth and she kind of nailed it. For me, this combo does the trick. I don’t want to eat any more after this. MealEnder is the perfect name for it and has helped me cut my food intake back a bit. It’s too soon to say if this will help me finally take off my last 10-15 pounds, but I like what I see so far!

Meh
I don’t love the taste, maybe a chocolate mint would be more for me but the citrus throws me way off with the creamy coating. I don’t think it surprises my appetite, coffee works better, but it’s a nice little treat if you love citrus
