FIAMM 5190512 Marine Horn with Stainless Steel Grill,1 Pack

I recently bough this FIAMM boat horn for my 19' Sea Pro, replacing the old one that gave out after the water-resistant membrane degraded and allowed water to seep in. That previous horn lasted about 5 years, so I’m hoping for similar durability from this one. I’m pleased to say that this new horn fit perfectly and looked just like the old one, except, of course, this one actually works! The stainless steel cover from the old horn held up well without rusting, but to be fair, I mostly boat in fresh water and only occasionally in brackish water. So, take that with a grain of salt (pun intended) and this might change now that I'm near the James River/York River. I’m hopeful that the new stainless steel cover will deliver the same rust-resistant performance and ASSUME that this one is made of the same steel. All that to say, its a horn and this horn meets the USCG requirements for a signaling device for this size vessel! Installation was easy for me, as I already had a cutout for the horn, and the electrical spade connections to attach it. The FIAMM horn is a great choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, straightforward replacement that gets the job done, hopefully for the next few years at least!

Bought this for a 2005 Crownline 225 Razor. It is a simple installation, easy replacement, price was reasonable and is loud.

Replaced my original '99 Four Winns Horizon boat horn. It was not the original size so had to cut some fiberglass to make it fit. It was nerve racking to cut it since I didn't want to make it too big and the cover won't hide the hole. Just cut a little out each time to see if it fits. No rust from the cover or supplied screws and the horn work ok. Not super loud but it's legal now.

This horn is loud enough for our needs, it's an attention getter and this is the idea behind a horn. We used this on our 16ft fishing boat as a required safety feature. It was fairly easy install for us but we are mechanically inclined and own lots of tools. Using the enclosed template was helpful for cutting and drilling the thick aluminum surface we mounted it on. You will need two fasteners for mounting the horn, they are not included because the manufacturer has no idea where, or how you are mounting this horn. We purchased stainless 10-24 roundhead phillips bolts and nylock nuts to mount ours, we had to use a cordless drill, a hole saw (1-3/8) and a drill bit to match our bolts.

Perfect fit to replace the OEM horn on my Edgewater 245CX. Only problem is the OEM installation position on the boat does not meet the horn manufacturers requirements of mounting on a minimum 70' angled surface, Since the mounting surface is flatter, more like 45', it allows the horn to be filled with water which will eventually corrode the horn and need replacement again. If the first horn lasted 10 years, then I will likely be selling the boat before the end of the next ten years.

First order arrive and the shipped white vs stainless. Had to wait on replacement which came quickly but was open box. All plastic worms torn open and you could tell it had already been installed before. So I used the first horn I received as it was new and just replaced the white cover with the stainless. All in all it is a great sounding horn for my boat and looks really nice. I knew how to wire it but it comes with no wiring directions for those who don’t nor a cutting template. Had to make my own template as it’s not really designed for just a square cutout but octangle. No mounting hardware either.

Boxed wrong sent one back the second was the same. Bloody plastic covers on all and paying for stainless. Ended up re using my old one

Got this to replace a Fiamm horn that went out in my 2013 four winns. This one was a slightly different model number but looked identical and fit perfectly. Horn works so im happy with it.

Looks OK and came the next day, super fast👍but have not installed it yet as it's much larger than my original horn.

Habe das Horn im April montiert, im Mai wieder kaputt. Leider für Außenbereich ungeeignet da nicht wasserdicht.
