Beyond the Battleground: Classic Strategies from the Yijing and Baguazhang for Managing Crisis Situations Paperback – May 17, 2016

My primary interest is [in using] the I Ching (Chinese Book of Changes) for divination, another important Chinese book which is discussed in "Beyond Battleground."I was chuckling and shaking my head at first, being very surprised to find this book is so much about military strategy; somehow I did not anticipate the emphasis. But I appreciate this book by Tom Bisio none-the-less because life is about strategy and dealing with circumstances. I think this book provides clearly referenced skills and strategies to help one think in diverse and effective ways.We still need planning and protection (from society, family, culture). We still need independence and freedom. Along with these principles, we need stability. I thought this book might help to provide insight about being more actively yang (in mind and action) to plan better, as a woman.
