These are small wipes about the size of and similar to an alcohol wipe. They are meant to help prepare the skin for better bandage adhesion. They are not a dressing in itself. Had to do many bandage changes on my husband before he passed and I loved these wipes. They really help a bandage or protective bandages such as Tegaderm adhere to the skin. I always have them on hand. Helps with bandaid adhesion too. Hope this helps.

Q: I am wanting to order the larger qty (1000) but we are worried if these will dry out too fast overtime before all being used. This is for a PT office.

I order 2-4 boxes at a time with no problem. I use 2 every 2-4 days. Occasionally I have to use them more frequently. This brand I find to be better than any other I have used.

Q: Will this help stop itching and redness from my medical tape on dressings?

I don’t know about the itching but it should keep your skin from getting irritated by the dressing, I use it even when I use pain patches, helps keep them on even though they need a little tape around the edges. and maybe look into a different kind of dressing, that could be your main cause of irritation. Hope this helps
