Q: Does this work with 220v - or do you need a transformer?

You need to contact Behringer to see if they have an export model. I looked at the power input label and it specifies 60 Hz 120V, which means that even with a transformer you could overheat the power transformer inside the unit since 50Hz power requires a heavier transformer inside the unit.

Q: what dj software does this come with? Serato, vdj, traktor??

No, it comes with a DVD in the box that has some software for you to try. The USB is only for the digital audio output into a computer system only, not for software interfacing, otherwise I would be using it for my Virtual DJ software or Mixx.

Q: Does it has pre-listen?

i was looking at the manual (https://media63.music-group.com/media/sys_master/hfc/hcf/8849765367838.pdf) and it looks like you CAN'T listen to the master out by pressing the PFL button at the top ??

Q: Can you turn off the beat assist? I don't really need those numbers/lights blinking.

I don't believe you can turn it off, though not 100% sure.
