What an outstanding webcam! It just looks spectacular for it's price. it's as easy as it can be to install, just plug and use. It does have a software that is hit or miss with some users, which let's you control basic things for the camera like the visuals, zoom, auto focus and more, but these can also be controlled from windows. It's very compact in size and I've been using it since 2021, so it's as durable as it could be for a webcam. The mic on these never sounds great as expected, but it's acceptable. It comes with a lid that you can slide easily and smoothly to cover the camera. In the end, it served well for the 2020-2024 era and for talking with my friends.

I wanted to upgrade my 720P Logitech for my office camera. Normally, I'd go Logitech but availability and price made me look elsewhere. I read the reviews and this one stood out. I picked it up on an amazon sale so that was even better. Its plug and play. Video quality is great. Mic quality is good too but it did create some echo (this is also how I have my speakers), suggesting the mic is more sensitive. Took some time to figure out how to configure MS Teams, Zoom, and FB Messenger recognized this camera but once they its been great.

My co-worker needed a camera for his zoom meetings. His crappy computer had a camera but no microphone, so he had to logon on zoom on the computer for video, and logon to zoom via phone for sound. He came to me looking for a solution, a zoom camera that would also have sound, but a picture that was better than the usual. He didn't want too much distortion on the camera, plus he wanted a little clearer picture than he was seeing from some of the other board members. There is a wide range of cameras and thus, prices out there, $20-$3,500. Most of the $20 cameras have video options and resolution that leaves something to be desired, so we went up to this tier $40-$55 cost. At this range, most of the cameras have 1080p, and given most people monitors and screens, that is more than enough resolution for a meeting. This camera is great because it is truly plug and play. About a half hour before his zoom meeting, my co-worker had me physically mount the camera on top of his monitor, but he (technology illiterate) did most of the hook up to computer, which basically amounted to plugging the cable into a free USB port. That was it. The 7 year-old PC he uses recognized the camera right away and he was off to the races. Everyone noticed right away how clear he was and the camera is wide enough to encompass his whole cubicle, so not too wide. He remained distortion free in the middle and the sound was excellent, very clear and undistorted. He couldn't be happier with my choice and having spent a little more money. This camera is a good value if you are looking for a good video camera that focuses correctly and responsive microphone that is truly plug and play (for a PC, at least).

I have a Mac Mini and a huge monitor but no webcam, and zoom calls were annoying without one. So I read the reviews and got this thing and I am really impressed. 1. The picture is surprisingly bright and clear (of course you have to have good lighting in your room for best results). Nothing's gonna work in a dark room. It's a wider angle than I'd prefer, but that's not a negative. I just have to clean up in here. 2. The microphone has excellent sound. My friend heard me on our latest call and thought I was using my fancy external (Yeti) mic. But it was just the little thing in this webcam. Be aware, if this is important to you, that the mic still registers sound even when the cam is not on. You can turn it off in your sound settings, or unplug it when not in use if you don't want that to happen. 3. I like the sliding shutter window that closes the cam when you're not using it. It's built in, not stuck on like some of the other models I saw available. Very happy with this purchase.
