Map gas torch kit

I purchased this item to heat up a suspension part on my car that was difficult to remove. It worked perfectly! I was able to direct the flame exactly where I needed to, which was impossible with my other torch head that fits directly on the MAPP gas bottle. Fast Amazon delivery as well...A++++!

its very easy to use

Loved it at first. Did a ton of copper soldering. What I really liked (apart from not having to hold the gas cylinder and being able to access smaller ateas) was the off switch. Gives me more time to grab the rag to do a quick cleanup around the pipe to remove excess solder. Bought it early April '23 and now the flame randomly turns into a flamethrower. Thought it was an almost empty cylinder. Did the same thing with a new one. Supply line looks good. Thought it's not getting enough air. Unscrewed the tip, cleaned the nozzle. No change. Kinda frustrating to lose it in the middle of a job. Really disappointed it only lasted a few months! Too late to return it. The box and the instruction sheet don't tell you how long of a warranty, no phone#, no website, no email. Really?? Update I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from the seller offering me a refund. For one this tells me that they genuinely care about customer comments and issues that come up. Why else would they make an effort to put things right without me banging on their doors? It also tells me that they want to do the right thing without much fuss or throwing around with excuses. That's why I raised it from 2 to 4 stars.

This item is exactly as represented. You can't go wrong for the price with the ease and control at your fingertips. You get the stability with the hose that allows you to produce the hottest flame that covers about anything you would need to do. Recommend highly.

This thing is a beast. Very controlable, yet can really throw out some heat. Ignition has never failed to light this torch. Above and beyond anything I expected. We was hit exceptionally hard here in Western North Carolina by Hurricane Helene on September 27,2024. Weeks without electricity, no stores open without trying to travel almost an hour, we used this to boil water and cook with. Not idea but it worked, we survived 17 days without power and having this in my toolbox sure helped

Well made great value, very pleased i had a bolt i could not undue with regular bow torch got it off with this torch lots of heat, problem is using the second time .lighter intermittent but the flame has become completely irrational, really dangerous, shame I really liked it,
