Copper clad aluminum. The "material" is listed as copper, but look at the picture of the side of the spool: it says copper clad aluminum just like the spool I received.

Can I use this wire for charging a 12v battery via a wind generator? It is a direct connection where the small wind generator creates dc power

I use it to charge a 12v battery from a solar panel.

Not recommended for the 20 amps fuse.

I would not run this cable underground without some type of conduit. The cable is not suitable for underground use by itself.

Flexible and high quality

I make alot of cables for lots of different things. Mostly RC airplanes and such. This cable works great for the battery connections. The insulation and flexible and average thickness. Great value and easy to use.

Only reason it's not 5 starts is it's not OFC but otherwise, it's great and for my application, perfect. I'm using it for an interior 6 channel 2k amp with 6 very power hungry speakers. 50ft was more then enough and at 12g, a bit overkill.
