Stay with the order
Its not what I ordered. I ordered the crema balsamic which is delicious and the order was processed as such. Disappointed that the crema was substituted with the glaze and we weren't notified that the creama was not available

so this seemed like the simplest thing to do
A few years ago I began using balsamic vinegars/glazes to replace steak sauces and salad dressings. I have several allergies, so this seemed like the simplest thing to do. Now, no one in my family uses anything but balsamic vinegars/glazes! This glaze (thicker and sweeter than the vinegar) has a deep rich flavor. It has just the perfect blend of tart vs sweet to enhance my salad, venison or veggies. In addition to the allergies I suffer from, I have to be very careful of my sugar intake. This product has 7 grams of sugar/tablespoon (which is one serving). The back label incorrectly lists one serving as 15 ml = 1 cup, thus I subtracted one star.My family and I are pleased with the taste and consistency of this balsamic glaze and are happy with the purchase.I received this product at a discount for my honest opinion and review.

Mostly Made Of High Fructose Corn Syrup!!!!
This balsamic glaze does taste pretty good but then again I just love all things balsamic! There is just no denying the taste. I would have to say that Tasto is about equal to any other balsamic glaze you will find on the grocery store shelves. In fact I have a similar one at home already but this one is a little sweeter with just a little less tart vinegary taste to it. It really does taste good. I kept tasting it after I got it and then I finally put some over some fresh watermelon that I had already. Very good!!However, after taking a close look at the ingredients, something just didn't look right to me. First of all, balsamic vinegar is a certain kind of grape juice that has been cooked down and aged to perfection. Then to make it a glaze, they just cook it more to make a reduction. It makes it sweeter. Some people add sugar, brown sugar or honey but it isn't necessary. Now, I would expect the ingredients in this bottle to just say something like "grape juice, or grape must, maybe sugar, etc" instead, the very first ingredient is glucose-fructose syrup; otherwise known as high fructose corn syrup!! The second ingredient says "balsamic vinegar of Modena (40%min)(cooked grape must, wine vinegar)." What that is telling us first off is that at a minimum, 40% of this bottle is actual Modena Balsamic Vinegar. 40%?? So the other 60% is high fructose corn syrup and the other ingredients? That's not exactly real Balsamic Vinegar!!! And no, I highly doubt that it's the other way around, 60/40, because then this would be much more expensive. Not only that but they list the ingredients of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena as cooked grape must and wine vinegar. That's not even right. There is no wine vinegar in Modena balsamic because the grapes aren't fermented when they are cooked. The third ingredient is caramel color. Probably because most of the bottle is clear flavored high fructose corn syrup. Something just isn't right here! So, even though it tastes very yummy, I don't think I can eat it after having broken down the ingredients list. True, high fructose corn syrup is in almost everything these days but I feel this is a misleading product. On that note, in their Amazon listing, they claim this "Creamy balsamic vinegar, made EXCLUSIVELY from cooked grape, aged gradually in quality wooden casks"... I think I have pointed out that that is not true. However, they have covered their bases and listed a legal disclaimer. "Actual product packaging and materials may contain more and/or different information than that shown on our Web site. We recommend that you do not solely rely on the information presented and that you always read labels, warnings, and directions before using or consuming a product." I agree! I'm giving this two stars only because it does taste good.Even though this stuff tastes pretty good, unfortunately I can't in good faith recommend this to my family and friends. My recommendation to them would be to buy some decent medium cost vinegar at the store and make their own glaze. That's what I will be doing.***I purchased this item at a discount in exchange for my HONEST and UNBIASED review. These words and opinions are 100% my own and I do not get paid. Great taste - not for the health conscience
This is an amazing reduced balsamic drizzle. I use it all the time at home actually, on salads, chicken, salmon and so many more. The classic tomato mozzarella just amazing. It is not to sweet or tangy and is the perfect consistency for drizzling. Although I love the taste this is really mostly corn syrup - yup sadly the truth, don't confuse this product with a Balsamic Vinegar, it is not. It is more like a glaze than anything else but it works and tastes great. So if you don't care about that and just want something yummy regardless of health well then this is the choice for you. This has a great taste and consistency and has a sweet and mild flavor. Goes great with sweet and savory. I for one was super excited to try it and love it. Although I will make my own in the future as it is so simple. I received this discounted in exchange for an honest review.
