This turned out to be a great paper for watercolors, acrylics and gelli plate use. I had been using another brand at 140 lbs, but this 138lb turned out to be as effective. I would say this is cold press but don't see it on the cover. The tooth side is smoother than I expected, but reacted to paint like the heavier brand. I will continue to use this for many projects.

This is mixed media paper, 138 lb. I used it for watercolor, and it performed expertly. A beautiful, non-texured paper. Bought a 2nd I liked it that much.

I cannot ask for more out of a sketch pad. It had a ring binding, and the paper quality is excellent. The perforations that aren't so weak that everything tears out, but not so tough that you tear a sheet for removal (crease it a couple of times to ensure a nice, smooth separation.) It's my favorite sketch pad that I've owned in the past 25+ years. The versatility of mixed media tolerance along with the aforementioned highlights make this a "must have" in my supplies.

This is EASILY my favorite sketchbook. I dabble in all sorts of media and the thick paper in this sketchbook suits everything from colored pencils to ink to watercolor. It's a large but reasonable size, so I can take it with me to class or for drawing outside. The only media I would say to avoid with this sketchbook is any sort of marker. This paper sucks up ink like nothing else and you can't really blend markers together on it.

any canson book is a good book in my opinion. this one works especially well for tangling in and adding color. holds wet media very well but does have a little warping of the page, which is easily fixed by closing the journal and sitting something on it overnight. I especially like the weight of the paper and the way it works with my microns.

Arrived quickly, brilliant notebook for sketching/watercolours etc

Es un cuaderno de dibujo con 30 hojas de tamaño tipo folio y grosor 224 g. Una cara tiene grano algo grueso (lo que viene a ser el cold press de los papeles de acuarela) y el otro lado grano fino. Me gusta para dibujos a lápiz, lápices de colores e incluso pastel (el lado de grano grueso). No es recomendable para acuarela. Las hojas están perforadas para poder arrancarlas con facilidad. Lo volveré a comprar sin duda.

El papel es muy bueno pero le doy 4 estrellas porque no vino en un muy buen estado
