My guess is around 8-10 oz. It's made of light aluminum so the weight is very comfortable on my bass rod so I wouldn't worry about it. It's not going to weigh your rod down too much to off balance it on you...

Two different reels. Hydo is $200 more expensive than Clearwater. For the price the Clearwater is a winner.
