Q: Does it keep water in more-so to get the hitch more rusty?

Has a good seal to keep water and debris out of the hitch.

Not sure but it fits perfectly and has held up very well

Same here. 2were advertised and I also received one. But it did fit my suv perfectly.

Q: Does it remove easy enough after being in there for a season?

It’s a hard plastic and the hitch is metal so it’s not going to rust in there. It’s a snug fit so it won’t vibrate loose and fall out but I can’t imagine having to wrestle the thing out in the spring. It may only go into the hitch about an 1 1/2” or so. Worst case scenario I can think of it might take a whack with a rubber mallet to knock it loose.
