I’d stopped wearing earrings for about 6 months for no real reason other than I didn’t have to hunt for a pair in the morning. When I started wearing earrings again I noticed how It was a bit uncomfortable to put them in and as the day wore my ears were sore and irritated. My piercing were starting to heal and close. I ordered these to keep my pierced ears open and to enlarge the holes back to normal. They were perfect. I was able to shower, sleep, and wear them 24/7 for 6 weeks straight. I never removed them and cleaned my ears daily with alcohol to prevent any infection. I made sure to turn them regularly too as my piercings got back to normal. It worked like a charm and my ear piercings are healthy again. I appreciated that the earrings were separated into individual sterile packages. The earring backs also locked into place and made it so the posts didn’t poke you as you slept on your side. I have very sensitive ears and can only wear gold, sterling silver, and surgical steel earrings. These studs didn’t cause me any irritation what so ever. The only discomfort I felt was from forcing them initially into my ears as the holes had gotten smaller and then the ensuing soreness as the holes stretched open to normal size again. I only needed to use one pair. The extra pairs are nice in case I ever need them or lose one. Now, if I decide not to wear one of my nice pairs of earrings for the day, I wear these studs instead as they look nice and go with everything. I even still sleep in them regularly as they are so comfortable I forget I’m wearing them. Two thumbs up from this girl with pierced ears.

This product exceeded my expectations! I absolutely love this product. When I bought this set of earrings, I thought I was only getting 1 pair. Turns out this was actually a set of 12! Anyway, years ago (10+) I purchased 1 pair of these earrings from a Sally’s Beauty supply store, I went back to get a second pair and they no longer carried them. This product is the exact same pair. So glad I purchased this product. They come in sterile packaging and are the perfect set of earrings for every day wear. These things are super durable, comfortable, and don’t tarnish! I wear them everywhere and never take them out (unless I’m putting a different pair in). I wear them when I shower, sleep, swim in the pool, etc. This product is an excellent value for the money considering I thought I was only ordering 1 pair when I made the purchase. I suppose you could give this item as a gift, but it would be a rather odd gift to give someone unless they are a professional piercer.

I was looking for locking studs to use when not wearing my dangling earrings. This product is just what I wanted. Be sure and "practice" pushing the pin through the back before putting it up to your ear. It's a pretty tight squeeze but I think it just needed to be done once or twice before pushing through your own ear lobe.
