Highbanker, Gold Sluices and Power Sluice Kits - Gold Mining Equipment (6" Mini Power Sluice Kit + Mini Dream Mat)

I did not have to assemble this...yippee! Plus a scale came with the mining sluice. Heading out soon for prospecting. Would like to see some literature included about sluicing for gold.

So far I think this is a good product but I think the pump is too fast and needs to be slowed down. Can't see a way to slow it down so may need to add something to dial it back. I've run about 20-30 pans of classified dirt through it and I get more black sand from hand panning than I do with this high banker and I think it's because the water is too powerful/fast. Maybe it's the angle and I need to make it more shallow but I find I'm catching more black sand and garnet in a hand pan than this. I'll continue and update if I make better progress with angles but winter is coming fast so I may have to update next year.

Sluice box itself is very well made. Header box is well made but not a good fit to sluice(took quite a bit of fitting). The dream mat fits great and is very secure. It also works fantastic for fine gold. Pump is nice and has more than enough output flow. I would suggest a speed controller for pump. Many can be found on Amazon under 20 bucks.

Super disappointed. Waited anxiously for the package seen it was delivered i threw it in the car and raced to the mountains. Big mistake the holes that hold it together did not match up. The metal peice that holds the matt in place was bent making for lost materials. The dream mat was great....however the metal manufacturer was no good. Welds look like they were done by a child...very weak and sharp edges....

Good little sluice. The only issue I found was that the header box was not necked down to fit in the sluice. I had to trim some metal and bend it a bit to make it fit. Once it was in place I hooked up the pump that you need to crimp the clamps to the wires. Once it is lol hooded up and the angle set it runs very smoothly and the mat is nice and snug to prevent material from getting under the mat.

Unable to provide a good review yet - I purcahsed this for my father and there are no instructions to assemble it. It came in a box with all the pieces but no literature. Does anyone have instructions they can provide or no how to assemble it so he can finally use it?

As title says, it was super easy to assemble, its kind of a pain to pack around down to the river (where im at there are some steeper banks) but super easy to use. Found a few specs of gold first time I used it.
