It looks great and silicon feels really soft and quality. It has a little weight at the bottom wich helps when detaching the phone. I'm using the new magsafe charger and the adapter Elago includes, no problem so far, sure you can see a little bit of the adapter and the charger cable when upclose but nothing that ruins the esthetic. Also the magsafe charger does not pop out, I'm using a Torras case wich has a magnetic ring and I can detach the phone with one hand just fine (It's about finding the right angle) and the charger stays in place. When you first insert the charger take a couple of seconds to fit it properly, silicone is a material you have to accommodate when in case or cover form.

Props your phone up perfectly so you can get things done & see notifications. Looks clean & aesthetic by hiding the cord. Saves so much space. Doesn’t fall over, super sturdy. Wipes clean since it’s silicone.

Edit September 22, 2025: I have read many complaints about the Elago MS1 Charging Stand being too lightweight to easily detach from the Apple MagSafe chargers. I found that to be true, at first, back in 2020, but I just flip my iPhone up (in a case or out) from the bottom edge and it comes off immediately. Grabbing the iPhone from the top edge usually will bring the MS1 charging stand and iPhone up together. It really works best to grab the bottom edge and pull up. I upgraded the Apple MagSafe charger released in 2020 (A2140) with the updated Apple MagSafe charger released in 2024. The chargers are not the same dimension; the new chargers (A2580 [1m] & A3250 [2m]) are slimmer. The 2020 Apple MagSafe Charger charges at 15W [using a 20w power adapter], and the 2024 Apple MagSafe Charger charges at 25W, using a 30w or higher charging adapter, and an iPhone 16 or newer. Elago has designed an insert cover to makeup for the difference between the 2024 Apple MagSafe chargers and the Elago MS1 Charging Stand. If you don't use the new insert cover, the new 2024 MagSafe Charging cables will not work at all in the MS1 Charging Stand. The 2024 MagSafe Charging cable will 100% of the time stick to the iPhone. The photos on the granite surface are of the "new" MS1 Charging Stand that includes the "Cap." The Cap is barely noticeable, and makes it work with the 2024 Apple MagSafe Chargers. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have the elago R1 Intelli Case for Apple TV 4K remote. Bought one for every Apple TV. Just like the R1 transformed the Apple TV remote into something handy, manageable, and convenient, the eLago MS1 Charging Stand makes the Apple MagSafe charger a worthwhile purchase for the iPhone 12 series. I looked at a lot of chargers for the iPhone 12. My biggest concern was whether they would charge fast enough. The Apple-brand MagSafe charger + the elago MS1 Charging Stand is a no-brainer, as the charger is made-for-iPhone by Apple, and elago's diverse designs complements Apple’s as good (or well) as it comes. I charge Apple Watch separately and don’t use Air Pods. The price is high for the moulded one-piece device you get, but (so far) it has met my expectations. It's like--easy on, easy off--and you can keep an eye on the iPhone screen at-a-glance. I don’t have the purported bulge. My stand is perfect.

This is a great MagSafe stand for iPhones. Have been using it for over a week with an official Apple MagSafe charger and have had no major issues. Holds my phone at a great angle for FaceTime or Continuity Camera when connected to my Mac, but also for iOS 17’s new StandBy mode when placing my phone horizontally. Only slight issue I have with it is that with my iPhone 14 Pro with an Apple Silicone MagSafe case on, the camera bump on the back sometimes prevents the phone from aligning on the dock perfectly (but does still charge)

This simple, intelligent idea raises up your iPhone to make it easier to use MagSafe Chargers. Someone with essential tremor or other issues might find it easier to use, as we did in our household. It took a couple tries to get the correct angle, and now it works for us perfectly. The magnet strength is very good, the phone ALMOST snaps to it on its own, it seems to be all in the wrist. NOTE that it comes with a MagSafe Cover--be sure to put it on the BACK side of your MagSafe unit (unlike me -- didn't read directions because they were too small.) If you need to remove the cover it will take a little bit of trying because it's a perfect fit. The MagSafe cord simple slips snuggly into the tiny slots. If you wish to take the MagSafe out of this stand, you need to look at the back of the stand, there is a small area where you can gently push the charger out without messing up anything or pulling on cords. We are over-the-top happy with this stand, glad we found it. We bought the white and it looks pretty with the silver of the MagSafe unit. Will probably buy one soon for our other phone.

Got this for my 14yo for her birthday and she adores it! You will still need to buy the mag safe charger and the “brick” ac adapter for this to work. It’s very solid and super cute!

If you are looking for an alternative to spending much more money than you want for a way to charge your phone and orient it in Standby mode or simply to quit the clumsy chasing of your existing MagSafe charger puck, this is it! Quality materials and design, color options are available to match your aesthetic tastes, and the performance is very good! Just enough weight to make it stable, and the soft materials alleviate any concerns about scratching surfaces. Honestly this is a winner in my opinion! I got the matching watch charger stand and it is just as awesome if not better. Perfectly serviceable and I can highly recommend their products ! All the products I review I have paid for out of my pocket and bought because I needed (or thought I did!) , so I try to be honest as a help to others looking for “real” reviews.

I have purchased 3 of the elago MS1 MagSafe stands on Amazon, and I love them. They are the perfect stand. Unfortunately, Apple's NEW 2024 MagSafe puck chargers are thinner than the original ones, so they set back further in the MS1 hole, and the diameter is a tiny bit smaller, so the charger is loose in the MS1 hole; when an iPhone is placed over it, the charger moves forward in the hole, towards the iPhone, and when the iPhone is removed, the charger falls out of the hole. Another problem is that because the new MagSafe charger does not fit snugly in the MS1 stand, it will sometimes "jump out" of the stand towards the iPhone (due to the magnet) as the iPhone is being placed, making it more difficult to put the phone (with the charger attached), back onto the stand. This was never a problem with the original MagSafe charger, which fit snugly in the MS1 hole, and always stayed in. I contacted elago to see if they would be making an updated stand for the new MagSafe, and they replied that they would just be sending out and adhesive tape patch for the existing MS1 stand. In my opinion, using adhesive tape on the old design is not a good idea, because one of the advantages of the current design is that you can remove the MagSafe charger from the stand and put it in your pocket when you go on a trip. Adhesive tape would make that very difficult. Only a new model with the new dimensions would make that possible.
