I have a sleep disorder, and I need different supplements to help deal with it. I also don't see the sun too much. Even though I take a good multivitamin and calcium, magnesium, and D3 supplements, my latest blood work showed low D3. My hair also falls out a lot. I thought it was just menopause at this point, as I do everything right for my hair (satin night cap, minoxidil, correct shampooing, collagen powder). Then I found out that hair follicles need D3 to operate properly. Since starting this supplement, hair loss has decreased by more than half. It's crazy, honestly. All of these articles and products I've checked out failed to mention that D3 is very important for hair growth. I totally recommend this supplement to anyone with a sleep disorder or lives in a low-light zone like we do (less than nine hours of daylight during the winter). It really works. It also tastes like buttercream frosting.

I've been using this for over a month, and I'm incredibly impressed by how well it absorbs. I've been on Vitamin D supplements for over a year and had a P.A. tell me that Vitamin D needs to be taken with healthy fats to absorb best for women. I wasn't sure how I would like this product, and while the consistency and flavor are not my favorite, the end result is excellent. I will be purchasing again.

I’ve been buying this brand of vitamins for years. I found the spray Vitamin D easy to take, and highly effective. So, I can recommend. The drawbacks worth noting: the taste is not too yummy, but definitely not bad either; the nozzle occasionally gets a bit stuck, but I’ve found if I leave it out of the fridge for a few hours, it’s easy to clean and unstick. Overall, great product.

I love Garden of life products. Period. They are a quality brand that offers whole food-based vitamins and supplements and most of them tend to be organic of origin. I live it Pittsburgh, PA where we have a long winter. I wanted to get something the whole family could use (even though it says not to be used by children, I have done my research, and I give this to my toddlers.) Let me be honest by telling you that the flavor isn't good. It isn't like gag me with a spoon gross, but it isn't like oh, I enjoy taking this everyday type of flavor either. That is why I gave it 4 stars. I like to put a half a pump (500 ius) into my childrens' cereal or yogurt and they can't even taste it. I would recommend buying this as it is safe, easy, convenient, and a good quality product for people who need more vitamin D. You can carry it in your purse, and use it when you remember to. No hassle.

I have the b12 and vitamin c spray from this same line. I love the flavor of those, but this one although I wouldn't call it gross, is just very different so don't expect the same flavor if you already have the others. Instead of being a watery fruity tang, this is a much heavier oily spray that really doesn't have a super strong flavor, it's just like taking a spoonful of oil. It doesn't really shoot out like the other sprays do since it's heavier, so this could get a little messy. I know mine ended up on my daughters shirt a few times since I didn't put it close enough to her mouth. Over all though I love the idea of this and will still give it 5 stars because I know it's good quality. I probably will just add it to a smoothie myself because i don't like the oiliness, but my daughter seems to like it all on its own.

I don't know if this could possibly be a placebo but I feel absolutely amazing. I did not even have to give this a week to start feeling the effects. I have very bad seasonal depression and this has been an absolute life changer.

I've been using this product for over a year and have seen a measurable increase in vitamin D levels in blood tests. Living in the Pacific Northwest, vitamin D deficiency IS a thing. My doctor recommended a Vit D suppliment also to help boost mood. This product has really helped. Two pumps, once a day, in the morning chased with coffee works for me. It is a little oily tasting, but slight vanilla flavor helps. I don't like to take pills, and through research learned vit D suppliments can he mostly wasted if not taken with other suppliments to increase absorption. I didnt want to start taking a bunch if different pills and gave this liquid a try. Very happy with it and have recommended to friends.

I wish I could do 3 1/2 stars. I was hesitant to buy this spray after reading some of the reviews, but I decided to give it a try. Honestly, it’s not terrible—it does leave an oily feel and taste in your mouth, but it’s not overwhelming or gag-worthy (at least for me). I’m about halfway through the bottle and haven’t had any issues with the nozzle clogging, which was a concern for some buyers. I like the convenience of a spray instead of adding another pill, and I’d likely purchase it again.

Not gonna lie, the taste is hard to get used to, however the fact that it’s clearly what my body needed and has no added nasty, weird, additives is why I love it!

My Vitamin D levels have always been notoriously low for various reasons (where I live, lack of dietary intake, digestive disease), and I've usually been relying on vitamin d2 tablets to help. When I found out that the Garden of Life product was vegan d3, I jumped on it right away. I had a blood test in mid-Febuary and my levels were 41nmol/L, deficient, obviously. I started taking this product around the time I had my blood test and I was using two squirts (double the dosage) to try to get my levels up. Three months later, my levels were tested again and I'm at 64nmol/L, still on the deficiency side of things, but this is the highest level I've had since I started recording my vitamin d levels nine years ago!! So, this product is working for me. Now, the pump bottle itself is glass and has tinted glass. You store this product in the fridge to keep it fresh. The flavor reminds me of vanilla and caramel flavored ice-cream and it's delicious! It does lose some of its flavor over time, but it's still very good. My only complaint about this product and this is a fairly significant problem, is that using the pump can be messy and a lot of the liquid oozes out of the nozzle and is wasted. I'm constantly having to clean it after each use and I'm sure it could be better implemented by using an eye dropper instead of a spray. Still, I've ordered another bottle and will continue to use this. It works - plain and simple - it's just annoying to use.

A lot of people have mentioned the flavor and it seems to have improved somewhat. It's still thick though, so I think many people find the texture unpalatable. I have no problem with it, but I take the B12 right after. It's a great vegan product and I feel much better since being on it. Would definitely recommend.
