I love how this makes my skin feel, hydrated and smooth. It’s exactly what I needed for my dry, sensitive skin. Also, I like that it has no fragrance. To use, I put some on a wet sponge and apply while in the shower. It works very well to hydrate and soften my skin.

The container I received didn't look anything like the picture here but I went ahead and tried it. There is so much oil in the container that it's still dripping with oil after mixing it thoroughly. When I tried to use it, it felt more like I was oiling my body than scrubbing it with the sea salt. It leaves a thick residue on the body and the shower. I had to soap off the extra oil and the shower was so slippery that I had to scrub it immediately. Not my idea of a relaxing shower. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because my skin did feel soft and smooth. But, I'm not sure it's worth this much hassle.

The ingredients are: Coral Reef Sea Salt, Safflower Seed Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Avocado Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Orange Oil, Citrus Peel Oil, Spearmint Leaf Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Menthol, Anise Oil, Fennel Oil, Vitamin E. The smell is very subtle and is not lingering. The only smells I get are spearmint/menthol/coconut even though orange oil, and citrus peel are listed above them in the ingredients. I would have preferred a citrus smelling product as there's nothing like citrus to make one feel invigorated, fresh and clean. I would have loved this product more if not for the spearmint/menthol smell. On the plus side, the smell, like in the other body polishes in this line, is very subtle, so it's not hard to ignore the smell. The sea salt crystals give a slightly rougher scrub than the sugar scrubs. If you like a gentler polish, opt for one of the sugar polishes. With them you also have a range of aromas to choose from. I chose the lemongrass tangerine, and there, since I love citrus smells, I wish the smell were stronger and lingered more! It's a truly natural product with no chemicals. That also means that the chemicals that will keep a product at an ideal level of softness/hardness are absent (which is a good thing!), so you will have to take the extra trouble to melt this product in cooler weather before you can use it. I leave it over a floor vent for about 30 minutes and keep a small metal spoon in the shower to mix the ingredients prior to using. With a textured shower floor, the oil doesn't pose a slipping hazard. This makes skin look glistening and oily before toweling off, but after toweling off, it tones down and the skin just looked well moisturized. The oily look and feel doesn't remain. So I don't see a problem using this in the warmer months as well. Vegan, not tested on animals, all natural, organic ingredients which are all great. Product works well. Would have been five stars if it smelled of citrus.

I knew this was coconut oil based and that's one of the reasons I ordered it to begin with. That being said, I had no idea how much of this product was actually coconut oil. I feel so greasy if I don't rinse it off a bit before I get out of the shower, and on top of that- coconut oil should not be going down your drains. I use organic coconut oil as my every day moisturizer, I have been oil pulling with it for over a year now and am very aware that it is typically a solid oil until it heats to 75 degrees... It WILL clog your drains! That's why after oil pulling you always spit into the toilet or trash- never down the sink. It may be liquid when you wash it down with warm water, but it will harden in your pipes again shortly after. Long story short, it clogged my drains. Surprise surprise. If I can't use it in the shower there's really no point in having it, is there? I would buy a sugar scrub by Fiji again, but not this one, or any with coconut oil. You could easily make it yourself for much cheaper: coconut oil, essential oil and sugar- but good luck rinsing it off without backing up your shower! Like I said, I knew this had coconut oil but I didn't know it was basically all coconut oil. I live in AZ so it's not like my pipes freeze or anything, it's 82 in February right now just to be clear. This stuff is always solid even after warming up in the hot shower for over 10 mins. It's just too much work and fuss for something that supposed to help relax you. Will order a scrub without coconut oil next time. Lesson learned.

It came in a different jar than the one shown online which I thought was weird although it does states its Fiji and organic (a white jar received). Hopefully I received the correct product! The product is good, but I don't have anything else to compare it too. STRONG nice smell but not overbearing! You must let this product settle if ordered and have it delivered in the summer heat - my jar had all the sugar settle at the bottom and the oil to the top. I let it sit overnight and it hardened as it should be. After using it this morning, it was wonderful. Great for hands, feet, and legs. Would definitely order again.
