My family has tried both the Painless Learning and Little Wigwam brands of placemats. While the content for the Painless Learning mats is sometimes superior, Little Wigwam makes the better placemats overall because the Little Wigwam mats are made from a sturdy, polypropylene card stock that holds up under repeated use. The laminated cover on the Painless Learning mats eventually begins to peel off.In the case of the solar system placemats, Little Wigwam is better in both material and content. The Painless Learning solar system is nicely designed, but Little Wigwam has a more up-to-date view of the neighborhood, including other dwarf planets, not just Pluto.

My wife loves this. It is educational and not cartoonish like other products I have seen. It's great to say, "I spilled coffee on Uranus" first thing in the morning.It cleans up easily and is very durable.

This is very informative, which is why I bought it, but the info is printed in tiny type. Better have your reading glasses on or a magnifying glass!

Vivid detailing. it is small, but it's a placemat that we plan to put on wall in baby room to go with the glow in dark stars and nerd out the baby room theme! Came super quick, exactly as detailed on sale page!

This placemat is very high quality, sturdy, durable, and beautiful! It has facts about all 8 planets, 5 dwarf planets, and the sun. This placemat is such nice quality that I'm going to buy several others by the same company.

The artwork is printed on top of the plastic sheet and any creaning and dragging of tableware scratches it off. Cheap quality, better table mats are laminated

We bought this as a visual aid for the report my son was giving on Jupiter. We liked that it illustrated the relative size of Jupiter compared to Earth and the other planets. My son held it up for the class, and showed them Jupiter's location in relation to the Sun and Earth. He then passed it around the class, and he said everyone, including the teachers, were very interested in it. The teacher has kept it on display for the class. It also has interesting facts and figures about all the planets. The only thing I would change is that it would be nice to have the planet names on the box illustrating their relative sizes. Overall, a great purchase!

Its really good quality and big bit small writting but you can still read it. My son loves it, has lots of useful information that he likes to read while waiting for food. This is review based of over a month use.
