Awesome little clock radio!
The technology you can buy today for less than $40 is astounding. This thing has a battery for backup, to keep the time, etc until the power comes back on. When you plug it in, it automatically sets the time and date itself! What a trip. You hit the time zone button until you get to your time zone, and then the device remembers that because of the battery backup. The speaker sounds surprisingly good, not unlike some of the $30 Bluetooth speakers you can buy. The radio tunes pretty well, too. The nightlight built into the base is adjustable and gives off a nice glow when needed. I haven't used the cordless phone recharger since my phone doesn't have that feature, but I assume it works well, too. It also has a USB port in back to recharge a phone or device, which is convenient. The numbers on the clock are large and bright (the brightness is adjustable in case you want it darker) and are easy to see. In short, for the money, this Emerson Bluetooth clock radio kicks some serious butt.

Very good double alarm radio
Brightness is great, choose what you prefer, auto or manual light level adjustment. Two alarms are a great feature, both can be setup with buzzer or to wake you up gradually with the station where it's left to be tuned to, great feature for me.sound is loud enough, surprisingly so, but it's not easy to tune it to a station if there is no line of sight from a little wire (antena) to the station transmitter. Digital tuning is nice, but there are no preset buttons, only one. I use usb for phone charging, very handy, cannot comment on wireless charging. Btw, buy the new model, $10 extra well worth it. update - my new Pixel 6 phone has wireless charging feature and it works amazingly well - it comes to full charge in less then an hour. radio is off during that time, but that's not an issue as the charging is super fast and reliable.

Good clock, but Smartset feature didn't work for me
Pro: I like the feature that automatically dims based on ambient light. The sound of the speakers is good. I like that you can specify whether the alarm being set is for Sat-Sun or Mon-Fri. Con: The Smartset feature did not work when I selected my time zone (Pacific), so I had to set it manually. I am guessing it gets this info from a radio band/station that may not be broadcasting in my area (Seattle)? Power cord is too short; it appears to be only about 4ft long, which means it only just barely reaches my outlet, whereas my previous alarm clock's cord was about a foot longer. The backup battery was DOA, so it needed immediate replacement. Luckily, I already had a new battery of this type (coin-sized) to swap in. As someone said, the instructions are in tiny print, which is difficult to read for us with over-age-40 eyes. Since a standard smartphone is about the length and width as the clock, it is unclear how you can hit the Snooze button when a phone is on the charging pad. The alarm beep sounds like a truck backing up, which is a common sound in my neighborhood, so I hope it will still be effective in waking me up. You might think I didn't like it, given all the cons I listed, but they are basically just nit-picks. I'm pretty satisfied overall.

Buttons are not functioning -Update
Having the same problem as another reviewer: Copy and pasted- Plugged it in and set the time and alarms. All seemed well until the alarm went off in the morning. I pressed the snooze button and now the display is permanently showing the radio station and no sound or time display. None of the buttons are functioning at all. I even tried to unplug and remove the backup battery for over an hour however when I replace the battery and plug back in it still just shows the radio station with no sound, no time display, and buttons are still not working. Update, I took out the memory saver battery and left it for awhile. Put it back in, and it works fine ever since. Just don't move it, because the thing gets confused. The only crappy thing is not being able to use the radio and phone charger at the same time. Otherwise, it's doing its job. Also a nice nightlight in my bathroom.

Didn't last 4 years, time was off, display too bright, and sound was a mono 4w speaker.
So, what I really liked this clock due to the auto time set if you lose power, large display and the wireless charging abilities. The downside of this clock is the display is way to bright even on dim and is a blue light. I was always turning the alarm away from the bed. The speaker was a joke, it's only 4watts and mono not stereo, my phone sounds better than this clock. The other downside to this clock is even though it's set via satellite, the time seemed to always be off (slower) a couple of mins compared to the phones and the computers in the house. After using this for 3 years, 11 months and 1 day, the clock just stopped working overnight. The display does not work but the alarm goes off and the radio works. It also stopped wirelessly charging the phone as well. Considering the cost of about $1 a month for an alarm clock, I will buy a charger for my phone and use it.

Tenía buenas expectativas de este producto, pero tuve la mala suerte de que me llegara dañado, con la batería descargada y que la carga inalámbrica fuera demasiado lenta, cuando la descripción del producto dice carga rápida.
