Use it with aluminum foil to prevent evaporation!
I had purchased this about a year ago. First time I used it, I was unhappy with its weak removing power because it took me forever to remove my nail polish, as addressed by other users/purchasers here. However, yesterday, I finally found out how to efficiently use this instead of relying on regular toxic nail polish remover. Trust me, this worked so well to remove my caviar nail. Here is my instruction: 1. Prepare cotton balls/square/round for your 10 finger nails; 2. Make your cotton thin enough so it can be completely soaked with this PIGGY PAINT NAIL POLISH REMOVER; 3. Soak your cotton and place them on your fingers; 4. Use aluminum foil to cover your fingers with soaked cotton to prevent evaporation; 5. Wait for 5 minutes; 6. Now remove the whole cover (aluminum+soaked cotton) from your nail by gently wiggling it; 7. VOILA! Nail polish has been clearly removed without too much damage on your nail!

No bad fumes, got for my child
My mom used this on my daughter's nails and said it worked great and doesn't smell bad like regular mail polish remover. I like that it is safer to use. The only polish and remover I let my daughter use is Piggy Paint. They have a lot of fun colors so she likes them and I like how they are non toxic.

You'll use a lot!
Does not work fast at removing polish. Have to work very hard to remove polish from nail beds. Used product with cotton pads and cotton balls.

Good stuff!
My granddaughters love to have their nails done and this is the BEST remover ever! It’s easy on our fingers, toes and noses!

"Works... with enough Cotton Balls and Elbow Grease."
I actually bought this, the Glass Slippers color and the Top Coat for my dog and the polish lasts really long, considering my dog goes out to play everyday. I was really surprised to see how long it lasted. The Glass Slippers polish has really cute glitter it in. Nice to put on over colors for a sparkle. The Top Coat is a must! It really helps polishes stay on long, totally worth it cause these piggy polishes come off fairly quickly. I also bought the Piggy Polish Nail Polish Remover and unfortunately, it doesn't work too well. You need to use a lot of SATURATED cotton balls and a lot of elbow grease to to take off one painted nail. And for being non-toxic and safe, it smells pretty strong. Strong enough for my dog to hate it. Overall, I'm really happy with the polishes.

Basically just vodka. Not safe for MCS sufferers.
I like Piggy Paint's polishes, but not this remover. First, this is actually just grain alcohol with a little bit of aloe, vitamin E, and something bitter added to keep your kids from getting drunk off of it. Vodka is essentially equivalent and can be obtained (by those of us over 21) for less money per ounce (for the same price, you should be able to buy about 8x as much cheap, but active-ingredient-identical vodka). An exception here might be if you or a loved one struggles with alcohol dependence -- in which case, this embittered product might be more helpful to you. Second, and perhaps more importantly, this product is not safe for people with MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities). I purchased this product because of my MCS and because it said "low odor", and while it is a bit lower-odor than acetone, it still produces strong fumes that made me ill. If you can't be around alcohol smells (as most of us with MCS can't), you can't safely use this nail polish remover either. I couldn't use the product so I can't speak to its effectiveness. But if you don't have a problem with MCS or alcohol, I suggest testing its effectiveness with vodka instead (which you may already have in your household or could purchase more cost-effectively). (Other reviews suggest limited effectiveness, even with Piggy Paint polishes, though one person did say that soaking while covering the pads with tinfoil was helpful.) Overall... not worth the money, not safe for MCS.

I use it for the rare occasions that I paint my nails because I don't like the alternative toxic removers
Unfortunately, it took a lot of scrubbing for this to work effectively. I use it for the rare occasions that I paint my nails because I don't like the alternative toxic removers, but if I painted my nails frequently it just wouldn't be worth the time of scrubbing. Otherwise, it came quickly and the packaging is cute. I wish it worked a little better!

Safe and effective!
I was hesitant to purchase this product after reading some of the reviews on here. So glad I did. Got my 5 y/o Piggy Paint Polish for her birthday and wanted a less toxic option for removing than conventional nail polish remover. This product is very low odor. The bottle recommends soaking the nail 30 seconds, but it came off quickly and easily with rubbing the nail. Happy we found this product line.
