Tilley Mens Outdoor Hat

I've got five Tilley hats and this one I wear for tennis. Because I have to wash it frequently from sweating while playing tennis, I bought a second one. Protects my bald spot and the edges of my ears which always got sunburned when I wore a baseball hat. I've been wearing Tilley hats for thirty years or more and they are the best. I've even worn a couple out and had the company honor their replacement guarantee. I suspect that on these nylon hats they are no longer offering to replace them when they wear out, and maybe on all their other fabric hats, but no matter. The hats always last a long time. You will probably lose one before you wear it out. I have a hat similar to this one with a much wider brim and it is the best hat to wear on hot Texas days when you are working in the sun. Over all, Tilley offers a classic product and they are well worth the money.

This is a perfect had for travel; it folds flat in your suitcase. I remember how many hats I've had to leave behind because there was nowhere to put them. This light hat, has air vents, is washable, looks great, and even has an innovative back strap that keeps the hat on your head when a sudden gust comes up. I wore one to Egypt and it kept that blazing sun off my face the entire time.It's just one quality hat that you will be awfully glad to bought.Make sure you measure carefully for the right size. It should be a little loose.

Nice hat but i measured my head circumference and ordered accordingly and it was way too small.

I only wear baseball hats. I bought this to keep the sun off on a beach trip. Wow... I really love it. Great quality, good protection, nice sweat bad, good ventilation I never felt hot in it.Also thank you to Tilley for making them in larger sizes. I got the 8 which is sometimes ok and sometimes tight in baseball hats but this was comfortably bigger. Great hat.

I've got a ginormous head. There. I said it. I'm size 8 5/8, which puts me out of the range for most hats. I've been looking for ages for a hat that will fit on my melon. Adjustable baseball caps and the like aren't good. Sure, you can let out the strap so that they fit around a head like mine, but they still looks like a tiny clown hat on someone like me. Then I found this Tilley hat. It's designed to be extra-big and loose fitting for breathability, but for me, that means it doesn't look small on me. The adjustable chin/back strap kept it on my head just fine while airplane prop-wash blew from 20 feet away (volunteering on a flight line) so I'm confident that the strap will work perfectly in anything shy of a hurricane. I'm very pleased with my hat!

Got my first tilley in '89 with bullet holes one year at the lake ,countless times flying off finding it floating half full of water, few special pins Etc. Needless to say from a person who lives in the harshest conditions in the nevada desert and Grand Canyon I still have and wear that T3 every other weekend. 33 years old!!!I know Tilley retired and had to sell the company but if you can do your research and find the ones made in Canada (no offense china, they're our neighbors and i can contest to those) They will last you a lifetime.I was skeptical of this hat only because I know and have tested the cotton duck t3 and was worried about quality of 100% nylon as well as misinformation on amazon about where products are made. Ended up buying because for $45 I would have taken a loan to grab that if i had to lolAs for today I am extremely happy with this hat, it was the only one i could find in natural colored with the green inside bill. I was searching for it in t3 cotton but had to move on from the past and go with new tech in the airflo t3.time will tell but no matter but i strongly encourage who ever does get a Tilley to get the Made in Canada thats where they originated.As for today I am

I was so excited to get my hat today. But too small. We just bought a Tilley for my husband (LMT06) and I ordered this as a female hat. I measure a 7 by Tilley measurements. It was SUPER small on my head at a 7. It was so tight that I have to send back and will order a larger size. If you are going by the Tilley website measurements and measure your head on this...it WILL run small in comparison. Not sure why the size was so different as it is a hat in the same "air flo" family. I would say I will at least have to go up a half inch for it to be comfortable. Wearing it for sun protection and boating in FL. The snaps on the side were way cool and I look forward to getting the correct size.

We ordered this hat at the suggestion of a friend who had one. My husband loves it (when he snaps up one side and leaves the other side unsnapped he says he feels like Crocodile Dundee!) He wears a large size and this one fit perfectly. The green lining is a great way to cut down the glare of the sun and the ventilated top keeps his head cool. The hat is expensive but the quality is first rate.
