Whats not to love about John Wayne! Theses should be issued in all Military Basic Training courses. If you are of a generation that hasn't seen a John Wayne movie, this is a great reference to watch all his most famous movies and why he's so highly regarded as an American patriot. The faux leather binding is a great touch, and this is headed to my coffee table as soon as I'm done reading it. It's not a hard read, and contains lots of Photos of John, especially his movies. The quotes are many from his movies and the book gives good perspective on how he valued treating people with respect and expecting the same... or else :) If you love Westerns, American Patriots, and American Values, this is a great short read. I find myself looking through the excellent photography in the book of some of his movies scenes (even some behind the scenes) and just smile. Excellent gift for a loved one in the Military. I'm an Air Force Veteran, and this hits the Red White and Blue spot in my heart! My Army Colleagues love John Wayne, and all the Army movies he starred in. Of course, the Air Force has Chuck Norris, one of my other favorite action Heroes, who is also very patriotic :) But that's another story and book review for another day. Buy the book, the price is low for the quality of the pictures, and it's sure to be a great conversation starter or gift for someone.
