Originally received a misprinted product, but the company was generous enough to send me a replacement product after reaching out to them. That aside, mixing is good and the taste is also minimal so it’s great for blending and putting in smoothies. Also have noticed a boost in energy and mood after a few days of consistently taking it. Only thing I didn’t like was that it is a proprietary blend formula. Would advise the company to state the sea moss dosage per scoop.

I was so happy with the price and to see that the bag was stuffed full unlike other brands. This sea moss is dirty and I don't think it has been pre washed or rinsed like the others I have used. But I don't mind, I always wash it anyway so extra washing doesn't bother me.As for the gel. My old brand I would use 14 grams of sea moss (weight dry) to 1 cup of water. I did that for my first batch and it would not firm up. The next batch I increased to 30 grams of sea moss and it still didn't firm up. If I tilt the jar it acts like a liquid unlike a gel.The extra sea taste and smell is there like other people mentioned. I got rid of a lot of it by washing it and changing the soaking water several times. I put some strawberries and mango in my gel to cover the taste so if that was the only issue I could get over it.I will not be purchasing this brand again and I don't think I want to finish this bagUpdate: I have updated my review because this company is amazing and they stand by their product. They reached out to me and made it right. Like I said in my original review, you just need to thoroughly wash this product like you should be doing anyway.

PLEASE DONT BUY! Pleaaaaase don’t consume this! I wish I could give no stars. Don’t be fooled by all of these fake reviews saying that this is pristine quality. NO. I actually do buy from St Lucia, and Jamaica. This is in NO comparison. PLUS this seller won’t allow you to get a refund, so it’s not even worth the try, as you’ll be stuck with it. As soon I took the package out of the box and laid eyes on it I knew this was something I shouldn’t consume. Then I opened the bag, the smell was horrible. As long as I’ve been taking Seamoss to get my 92 minerals I knew right away this was no good. I usually make gel and put it in my daily smoothies for my family, and we even take heaping teaspoons of it when we feel a bug coming on. That said, we’re very familiar with Seamoss in my household.This is terrible “Seamoss” more than likely from the waters of Vietnam and sold in huge bulk to people like these people who are interested in your money instead of your health. Shame. The low price should have been a dead giveaway for me but I gave it a shot. No way will I give this to my kids. Please run away, don’t walk. I hope this helps someone!!

This product is phenomenal! It’s very easy to prep, very high quality, neutral taste and smell, and fun versatile ingredient for lots of dishes. It can be used as a dairy alternative to thicken desserts like chocolate mousse, sorbet, or coconut milk pudding as shown in the photos.
