FAR AND AWAY the best car mount I’ve ever owned (not even including the charging.) I drive 45,000+ miles per year for work and have been using this mount for the last 2+ years. The magnet still works perfectly, I think I can legitimately remember 1 time my phone ever fell off the magnet. The charger is still amazing; it charges fairly quickly, the cord has never fallen out of the mount and they fit snugly. The only problem I’ve had, after 2+ years where I REALLY put it to the test, is that the adhesive that has it mounted to my dash has started to come off. I’d say the rough roads I have to drive regularly for work and the amount of miles it’s been through has more to do with that than the actual product. I actually have absolutely no issues! I genuinely love the product so much that instead of making what would very likely be an easy fix; I saw there was a newer, faster charging version available and I decided to reward a company that made a fantastic product with another purchase!

The MagSafe Car Mount Charger works great! I bought it for my son’s car. He needed to use it for maps when he was going out of town. He said that it worked great! It was nice and secure while driving and he would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a good sturdy car mount. :)

My vehicle: 2022 Lincoln Aviator. My phone: IPhone 15. The first charger I tried was a product that attaches to the vent but the Aviator has really small vents and while it was a great charger, it was obstructing the air flow from the vent as well as the access to the function buttons for the radio and other controls. I then purchased this one with hopes it would cure those issues. I ordered it during Prime Days so SCORE! As usual delivery was the next day. As I was heading on an 8 hour trip I wanted to install it immediately. I quickly realized that there is no actual flat surface in an Aviator. There are only appearances of flat surfaces as everything has curves and dips. So I decided I would try the windshield on the far left side as low as possible where I would still have complete horizontal and vertical movement of the phone on the perch and not be visually impaired while driving by its placement. Installation was a breeze. Thirty seconds at most. Remove the paper on the back of the mount, stick it to the windshield, hold for a minute or so, poof, done. I did not need to use the wipes as my windshield had just been cleaned at the carwash. The cord from the windshield to my charger did require me to use a little painter's tape (so it won't leave residue) to secure it to the underside of the dash so it wouldn't dangle down on the right side of the steering wheel. I adjust the height and depth for the best placement for me with the phone on it and immediately realized I could look at it without my eyes leaving the road as it did with the vent charger or placing it on the storage bin of the vehicle on my right. The location just required me to do a quick side eye left to see anything that popped up or to look at Googlemaps but my eyes remained level with the roadway. In addition, because it was essentially even with the top of my steering wheel on the far left of the vehicle's window, I had a completely unobstructed view while driving. This was most imperative during the drive back when it was nighttime and raining and visibility was already impaired. By not having to take my eyes off the road to look at the map or a ding from the phone was certainly safer not just for me but everyone on the road with me. The charging capacity is great. I let the magnet grab my phone as soon as I open my vehicle's door and as soon as I start it up the charge is working. I see by the green light on the side of the charger. I'm not an IT person so how fast compared to others or how many watts I cannot tell you but my phone is sufficiently charged as I need it. On short runs it charges and on long runs it charges. Therefore, it does what I bought it for and my phone hasn't run out of charge yet. I also charge it at home so I'm not just relying on the charger here. The magnet is very strong and even on a cobblestone road it did not jar loose. The only time it did was when my wonderful teenage doesn't-care-if-it-isn't-hers daughter put it on without connecting it correctly and it fell immediately. Oy! Lesson learned. When put on by a caring person who pays for things it holds the phone without fail, does not bounce around, is securely attached to my windshield, and charges. My only negative, and this may actually be a Lincoln or Appleplay issue, is that most of the times I cannot get it to play music or play out my Googlemaps turn-by-turn without some fiddling with the settings on both the radio app and the phone app. Again, I don't think this is the charging device's issue but I was taught one has to always put something to improve with all the positives so this would be it I guess. I would definitely purchase this charger again and in fact will likely purchase it for the passenger side of the vehicle (so my daughter can continue to drop her phone on the floor and learn how it is to either live without a phone when it breaks or how she has to get a job to pay for her new one).

The mount is easy enough to install. The magnet is very secure. There are three points of adjustability. I don’t know why, but every so often the grip on my mount will give out and I’ll have to reapply it. It’ll hold to the dash a few more weeks or months, then I’ll have to do it again. The one for my wife’s car does not do this. I’m not sure if this is an error on my part, an issue with each individual device, or the dash material. I would buy this again for certain.

I’ve been using the ESR MagSafe Car Mount Charger every day for over a year now, and it’s still firmly attached to my dashboard without any issues. I live in an area with harsh weather — scorching sun in summer and freezing snow in winter — but this mount has held up amazingly well through it all. The magnetic grip is strong and keeps my iPhone perfectly secure, even on bumpy roads. Charging speed remains consistent, and it’s super convenient to just snap my phone on and go. Honestly, I expected it to weaken or peel off after months of temperature swings, but it’s still rock solid. Definitely worth it if you want a reliable MagSafe car mount that lasts. Highly recommend!

Just as I'd ordered my new iPhone 16, MacWorld raved about an ESR case for it and saved me some trouble of getting the wrong kind. I bought it and I have a long review there. (Link to the case follows). That led me to ESR, its maker. I mention that because while buying the case I became more aware of problems with phones in their cases not magnetically attaching to MagSafe compatible car mounts and desktop stands/charging stations. Their HaloLock system provides an additional magnet in cases so that they won't fall off whatever they might be mounted to while charging. I experimented with my phone in its new case with this car mount and it seemed perfect, a good solid magnetic hold. The suction cup grip for its windshield mount option (just a personal preference over the dashboard), appears to be a VERY strong grip, and it didn't appear to me that pulling this phone off of the magnetic mount would pull it all down. With some practice, I think I can do a little one-handed finger dance to lift it carefully off the mount when I'm ready to go. But if it takes two hands, no biggie in my book. Hands-free driving doesn't have me pulling the phone of the mount for anything anyway until I'm parked. El plástico usado para el producto es más normalete que el que esperaba pero en general de momento cumple muy bien con las espectativas. El brazo es muy regulable y se puede colocar en casi todos los ángulos. Se supone que la ventosa es reutilizable pero la primera vez que la pones tiene una especie de adhesivo que la deja increiblemente bien sujeta a la luna delantera, que es donde lo tengo puesto, desconozco si esta solidez se mantendría en posteriores aplicaciones unicamente utilizando la succión de la ventosa, así que probablemente lo mejor es pensarse bien el lugar donde la pones la primera vez. La potencia de los imanes es bastante buena, sobre todo al principio, tampoco es una locura pero si que creo que funciona bastante bien y para mi mini va perfecto, a no ser que tengas el modelo más enorme no creo que tengas problemas. En cuanto a los comentarios que leo sobre el calentamiento durante la carga quizás se refieran a un modelo anterior pero por mi parte aún no lo he experimentado y funciona bastante bien (eso sí sin la animación propietaria de carga MagSafe pero bueno esa compatibilidad casi nadie la tiene y tampoco hace falta tanta potencia). Quizás si se usa un conector al mechero inadecuado se caliente más (en el empaquetado viene incluida una guia rápida ilustrada muy útil que te explica cual es el tipo de adaptador de mechero que tienes que usar, además de otros consejos, está hecha de un papel más solido para tenerla a mano en el coche y es un muy bien detalle por parte de los fabricantes). Lo dicho, en general un producto muy satisfactorio a un precio muy competitivo con todo lo que incluye, sobretodo si no tienes posibilidad de usar los típicos que se enganchan al aire acondicionado. Veremos si la ventosa aguanta con el calor del verano pero de momento todo según lo esperado. Actualizaré esta review si se da alguna circunstancia poco deseable tras el uso a largo plazo.

ダッシュボードにとてもしっかりと固定出来るし、位置の調整幅も広く、ジャストな位置に取り付けられる優れた商品だと思います。ただアーム部分を伸ばしめにすると振動によるブレが大きくなる傾向があるようです。 直射日光が当たるところに長く駐車するとまれに剝がれて吸盤が剝がれて落ちることがありました。 マグネット付き充電部分の磁力もとても強力です。 私の取り外し方が悪かったのか、磁力が強くてひねるようにして取り外していたのが原因か、半年で充電部分がへし折れてしまいました。 ですが、この製品より良さそうなものが見つからないので再度購入しました。 今後は取り外しを丁寧にすればもっと長く使えると思います。 搭載車はアルトラパン（2008年後期）でFMトランスミッター兼USB-A＋CポートのシガソケットからL字型0.5mケーブルでとてもスマートに、無駄なくきれいに配線できているので大変に気に入っています。
