American Baby Company Waterproof Crib and Toddler Mattress Protector, Quilted Fitted Protector Pad Cover made with Organic Cotton Top Layer, 52“ x 28"

Holy cow, I absolutely love this crib mattress pad, it fits beautifully on my L A Baby Organic cotton 2 in one mattress! This pad is clearly going to last, I checked out a few at some local stores and they looked just as nasty as the cheap mattress pads I has growing up that have plastic underneath which pills up and separates and tears... This pad will clearly not be doing that, its a totally different construction, not an applied adhesive polyester or PVC surface. This pad is quite plush, being pretty fluffy, so I'll make sure to see how my baby's head looks on the sheet to determine its safety. It will be a totally wonderful toddler mattress pad though. There were no harsh odors or construction quality problems, the sides are so nice and stretchy and it goes on without a fight. I really want to buy another 2 or 3 of these so I never have to worry about not being able to find them later, I wish they were a little less expensive, but knowing I won't have to replace them due to poor quality reassures me and I know its worth the price I paid. If you don't like this, I'd like to know if you are satisfied with any other product, this is just the greatest and it didn't shrink at all in my wash.

This soft cotton quilted crib cover is just lovely. I have two of them now so that I change them over quickly if needed. I love the fact that it is organic cotton and the padding on them is really substantial. I have nothing bad to say about these crib covers and thoroughly recommend them to anyone needing a crib cover as I would definitely buy this one above all others. I have tried other crib covers and this one is miles ahead of the rest! They are a good size, as we have a big crib and deep mattress and they wash and tumble-dry extremely well. I run a daycare nursery, so they get a lot of use every day, but they look like new straight out of the wash and nothing has worn on them. The stitching is very good and everything about this crib cover is well made. So, I really recommend that if you are looking for safe extra padding and protection to cover your crib mattress, and you want your baby’s head and body to have something cozy and soft to lie on under the crib sheet, buy this. You cannot go wrong and this product is safe, hard-wearing, and feels so soft for your baby.

This cover is great. Have been using one with our son for 17 months now. No complaints. Fits our standard size crib/toddler mattress very well--tight enough without being a pain to get on. Washes well, no shrinkage. The quilted style adds more softness to the mattress, which our son enjoys, especially now as a toddler and he's had experience sleeping on our softer mattress. Haven't really had to test out the waterproof-ness of it, but when overnight potty training days eventually come, I hope it holds up. We use all organic cotton bedding--mattress, this cover, and the American Baby fitted sheet. UPDATE, March 2013: Totally waterproof, although my son was done using his toddler mattress by the time he was potty-training. No hint of wetness on the mattress (had opportunities to test it w/ baby #2). Looks nearly brand new and remains soft to the touch. Still no shrinkage problems. Easy to take on/off.

We were gifted this same crib mattress cover and when I wanted to buy a second cover, I had to return several others because the quality was not nearly as good! It took me a while to find this one again but I'm happy I did! The other covers I bought were so thin and flimsy in comparison and made crinkly noises. This one was only about $6 more and is SO much better quality. It's soft, thick, plushy, and can tell it's made of quality materials that will last well with use. Having used the first one we had for about 6 months - it does fine the wash & it is completely waterproof, and without being made of a crinkly or vinyl material that will make noise when the baby moves around. I bought the second to have a spare for when I need to wash the cover. And when we have more kids, I definitely plan on getting at least one more of these covers!

I bought this one for my nephew's crib mattress. It is organic cotton. It feels soft and cozy. My nephew loves the feeling when sleeping on it. And the pad doesn't make any sound when my nephew moves around, this is the most important thing that my sister likes about since he is a light sleeper, a little sound could wake him up. When we strip the mattress pad after he peed on it, the mattress is completely dry.The waterproof function is fantastic. And we followed the washing instruction, no shrinks. It still fits well on the mattress. So I think it is a great buy!

I have used 2 interchangeably of these on my baby's mattress for a year. They are nice and soft and I appreciate that I'm not exposing him to PVC and other harmful chemicals. They make his bed feel warmer and cozier than a sheet alone. They fit snugly and easily on the mattress and have held up well to washing and drying. They do not pill with multiple washes. My baby isn't potty training yet, so I'm not sure how well it stands up to big accidents, but it has absorbed little leaks well.

This is a wonderful mattress pad. I wasn't ready to commit to buying two when I initially made the purchase after the kiddo transitioned into the crib, but I wish I had! It would have saved me a few bucks (cheaper to buy a two pack than just one)--plus I would have had a second one to use when he had his first middle of the night major diaper leak. The material is very soft and it's cushiony without being a problem for a baby. It fit around our (Ikea) crib mattress very easily, and the fitted crib sheet fits over it very easily too. All in all, I highly recommend getting not one but two of these! Save yourself the hassle. Update 1/2/14 These covers wash really well. Between regular washings and those due to diaper leaks, I've been really impressed with how well these covers hold up. They don't pill, they haven't shrank, they're just as good as new.

This product is great, I ended up buying another one. It's soft and comfy on the top and even the waterproof backing doesn't seem plastic-y at all, but like a soft breathable barrier. That being said, it is totally waterproof. My son has peed out of his diaper multiple times and the mattress underneath is always dry. The only one negative I have is that one of the two sheets I have, the elastic part has worn out and stretched after about 10 washings. I haven't noticed that happening on the other one. But I'm still able to use both because the corners and seams are quite fitted, it doesn't rely on the elastication part. But it would be nice if that hadn't stretched out.

Initially the cover was soft and fit perfectly. After a couple of washes, it completely shrunk to the extent I cannot put it on the mattress anymore. Very disappointed with this product.
