Honey-Can-Do Bamboo Wicker Hamper with Lid HMP-01619 Natural 26-Inches Tall

For this price it’s insane!! It’s cute and sturdy. I didn’t want a wide open hamper that takes up the whole bottom of the closet so I got this one and it even matches the room perfectly. Super easy to put together too!

I had a step-on-pedal trash can, but it is in an open area and I wanted something prettier. I ordered one of these to see if it would work. I do use little clips to hold the inner garbage sack in place, but I am pleased with this as my garbage bin. I use it for trash that is not smelly-no food discards. I bought another one to use for another purpose, just because it is so adorable looking. It's not extremely sturdy for heavy things, but I have no complaints about how I'm using it.

It looks very cute and it was very affordable. Just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it came with a small piece broken at the back side, but since it was not visible and I did not have time to return it, I kept it. I'm using it as bag storage.

Absolutely no complaints about this hamper. It didn't even smell funny like some of the other reviews for similar hampers said. Goes together SO easily - just widen the metal skeleton and stick the feet through the holes, then secure the velcro flaps over the top to induce tension. Perfect! I love the lid - hides the dirty laundry from company when it's near full, but can be flipped behind all other times for super easy tossing-in. Very sturdy - I can pick it up and use it as a laundry basket without it falling apart or having to reset the legs. Very lightweight which is also nice. Note for others, since some people didn't notice from the pictures: it has brown fabric sides, the front, back and top are wicker. Ours arrived in perfect shape and we couldn't be happier! It's perfect for the bathroom as it reminds us to toss pajamas and dirty towels IN the basket rather than on the floor. Really saves me time and back trouble later on. It really doesn't get any better than this.

This is a great little hamper! Some of the other reviews mention that it was difficult to put together, but I put it together in less than 5 minutes. No tools required. It's tall enough for a few loads of laundry, but doesn't take up too much space. I bought it to put into a walk in closet. The color of the bamboo is nice and it seems pretty sturdy. I will be buying another one!

I personally love this hamper. It is small, but yet still easily holds 2-3 loads of laundry. I find the ad to be very accurate in it's description. It shows the brown canvas on two sides...so those that are disappointed it is not bamboo all around, should have seen that. This company *does* make an all bamboo-sided hamper for about $1-$2 more and sells here on Amazon. So, go with that instead if it matters to you. I find the lid to be great. It doesn't snap but it has good weight and does not come open either. I also like the fact if you do want it open, it lays flat and takes up no additional space in the opened position. As for assembling it, mine came with the frame *upside down* inside. All I had to do was pull out the frame, flip it right side up, and slide it in lining the grommets with the feet. This took of all 5 seconds to figure out. Once set up, the hamper is sturdy and easily transported. I am not sure why others had a hard time with this (maybe they didn't realize the frame was upside down, but there are instructions included). All in all, this is a great simple hamper for the price. I choose to line the hamper with a laundry bag so that I can carry that only to do laundry. Standard bags fit great inside... definite two thumbs up for this item.

I really wanted to like this hamper. I needed one with a lid to keep my cat from "nesting" in my clothes hamper. I liked the look of this one and I failed to read the full description in that it wasn't a real lid, that it was mostly thin cloth, and no way to easily carry the hamper from the bedroom to the laundry room (you have to use a separate laundry basket). All of those issues are on me. So why the dismally low review then? Because the fabric is so thin that if you're not careful you will literally puncture and rip the fabric putting the frame together. The lid isn't a lid... you have a thin "bamboo sheet" that covers the top. Anything slightly damp? Don't put it in the hamper as it (both the item and the hamper) will mildew/mold if left for more than a day.

I am using this for dirty towels. I struggled whether to rate this a 3 or 4. I decided on 3 compared to other items I have purchased. My biggest issues with this is...as I hate to admit it...I "assembled" it by myself and even though it is basically a one step process I struggled. It was certainly a tight fit getting the x-frame into the fabric/bamboo. I would finally get it in and it would fall back down again and again as I tried to get the "legs" into the holes. But I finally did it. Not a huge issue. I am certain it will not last forever or anywhere near forever but then again, it wasn't a spendy item. It's light, which is good as there isn't any handles. It looks good and I think I'll get my money's worth out of it. All and all I would buy it again. I also want to add that shipping was AMAZINGLY fast!!!!
