I recently used this to silicone the expanding joints on a fireplace, needing something with reasonable heat resistance. Was a bit tricky to apply as the instructions state NOT to fill the joints, but after some initial wobbles getting the hang of it, it turned out pretty well. Not yet into fire lighting season (the area has since had a firebox returned to it) but hopefully that everything will hold up well.

I'm my opinion the product has better usability than your typical brands found in retail / trade outlets, the colours are exactly as advertised. Certainly from a value for money perspective this is a very good alternative as it has strong adhesive qualities and settled well.
