Perfect for our use
Great little pan, perfect for my husband to make his morning cooked cereal, oatmeal or cream of wheat. Just large enough for one or two servings without cooking over accidents. Wish it came with lid. Well balanced, easy to clean, good weight.

Quality sauce pan
I am always impressed by the build quality of All-Clad products. They can be handed down from generation to generation. I use this little pan for quickly melting butter on the stove for popcorn. Its even heating construction can make butter into a hot liquid within a couple minutes that works perfectly time wise in conjunction with my air popper. Popcorn done popping butter done melting....I was using the microwave oven to melt butter but that made a mess inside even if it was watched for overheating. This little pan is just great for quick heat, even cooking and delicious popcorn topping. This is small enough too for heating one serving of gravy or spaghetti sauce or even a small bowl of soup. All-Clad is pricey so it's not for everyone but serious cooks appreciate the craftsmanship... Always top notch.

Adorable!!! And it's All-Clad!
Could this little pan be any cuter? After seeing other's reviews, I got worried that maybe the handle was going to be too heavy and it would "fall" backwards but the first thing I did after unpacking was set it on the counter and it stayed upright without a hint of tipping over. I even jiggled it a bit and still, it stayed firmly on its bottom. As far as quality, well, it's All-Clad, I don't think one can go wrong. I went cheap on my 1-1/2 quart saucepan and bought Calphalon and every time I use it, I mutter to myself how much I dislike everything about it (except the glass lid). Yes, All-Clad is spendy but the moment you hold one in your hands, you know you have the ultimate in quality. Just like my 3qt saute pan and my 12" fry pan, they feel like a million bucks and cook and clean-up like a dream.

Who Knew I Could Love a Saucepan So Much!
The quality of this butter warmer is top notch and it holds slightly over 8 ounces when full. Perfect for boiling water for a cup of hot chocolate, for example. I've used it to warm butter and wing sauce, reheat leftovers, and boil water several times a week. It's super easy to clean and didn't discolor when reheating pasta sauce in it. The one thing that takes some getting used to is that the pan doesn't have a spout which makes pouring out of it tricky. You'll soon learn to pour over the sink, but beware that if you're pouring water into a cup, chances are that some will spill until you get used to it. I've been using my pan regularly for a while and still make a mess every time I pour water. Not a big deal because it is usually water and I pour over the sink, but know that it could get messy.

All Clad Quality
So... Most folks would say your are nuts for spending the amount of money that All Clad charges for just one pot or pan. But then, these are also the folks who will spend $99 for a set of 10 pots and pans at a discount store and then end up replacing them often. They'll also complain because their food with cook unevenly, burn, the pans will warp, the handles become loose... well, you get the picture. When you buy All Clad, you are buying for life. Really! All Clad pots and pans have a lifetime warranty. Cook with them once and you'll wonder why you used anything else. Ina Garten said that she herself uses All Clad pots and pans and Wusthof knives. She noted they are expensive, but they really are a one-time purchase that lasts a lifetime. Even she suggested you can start small and add to your collection as your budget and needs allow. That's what I did and I have no regrets. All Clad heats evenly, is very solidly constructed and remember... If you ever have a problem, if anything fails, All Clad replaces it for you, for free, no questions asked. Who wouldn't like that? You cannot go wrong with an All Clad purchase. The stainless steel is dishwasher safe, cleans up easily and cooks like a dream. There is a reason this cookware is used in professional and high-end kitchens. Don't buy the cheap stuff any longer... Make the investment in quality. You'll be glad you did!

Does not come with a lid
You should know before buying it that your half quart Allclad sauce pan doesn't come with a lid. Of all of the Allclad products that I own, it's the only one that did not come with a lid. For $100 you ought to get a lid, don’t you think?

Perfect little pot for small jobs
I've had my eye on this little pot for months before finally deciding to purchase. It's definitely less practical than a 1qt or 1.5qt saucepan, as it is quite small. But I'm so glad I did- I use it all the time for heating up soup or leftovers (great alternative to microwaving, and absolutely quicker!), boiling just one or two eggs, and making hot cocoa or heating milk before frothing for lattes- I LOVE the pour spout and it makes all of these jobs so much easier. I prefer the stainless line from All-Clad, and at this point don't like to deviate in order to keep the look uniform. It retains a mirror finish if washed correctly and really maintains its shine. But for some reasons the other All-Clad lines do not include the pour spouts in their version of this pot anyway, and the pour spouts are arguably the best feature! Now that it's fall, i may also use it to mull some cider for 1-3 people, make gravy and other sauces, or a quick cranberry sauce. It frees up my larger saucepans for other parts of a meal and takes up very little space on my pot rack. Would definitely buy again!!

It’s small but what a handy pot to have for making (or reheating) simple syrups, sauces, glazes, etc. Heavy duty, heats quickly, doesn’t tip. I love it!

I love All Clad products that are made in the U.S.A. The quality is amazing. I have had this little pot for a while now, and it still looks brand new, as long as you maintain it. The size is perfect for warming up milk, boiling water, warming up (leftover) soup, etc. This is definitely worth the price!
