Worth the Money
We homeschool our kids (ages 9, 10, and 12). We bought this to do more projects together to keep things interesting and learn all about using principles in areas such math, science, engineering, hydraulics, art, etc. As soon as our kids opened it their eyes lit up and were super excited to start doing projects. Assuming one project a week, there is almost 5 months worth of projects. The book is well written, tons of pictures, many tips along the way during construction, and the book itself is nice enough that it will last many years if taken care of....you know, grandkids down the road. Great buy.

The most popular book in my house.
Am planning to purchase approx. 20 more as Christmas Gifts, plus his other books for myself, (hope this doesn't ruin anyone's Christmas surprise). Have mine on the coffee table and thus far three people have read it from cover to cover prior to my getting a chance. Amazing concepts and even better, they really work ! Can not wait to read more books by Lance Akiyama !

Fun, interesting, my son loves it
Bought this one for my son on his birthday. He loves it. What I didn't expect was that he was going to arm himself and declare an all out war on me with all his new found weapons. I think it's great that he's motivated enough to create all of the gadgets, too bad for him I'm investing in larger more powerful Nerf weapons to show him that mutually assured destruction it's always the best idea

Designed for Your Brainiac
Anyone have a brainiac at home? Want a fun and challenging way to pass a rainy or snowy day? This book is it!! This is for anyone that likes to build and discover new uses of rubber bands. My son is 11 and with help from dad, they are constructing some amazing new projects. Totally worth it. Just don't forget you will need supplies!!

Would Recommend
I taught 6th grade STEM, and the Bow and Arrow challenge with a could little tweaks was great they loved it. I do not give students rubber bands so having the string option was great. Other teachers have looked through it as well to get ideas.

This is one of my ten year old son's favorite science project book
This is one of my ten year old son's favorite science project book. He's able to build some projects on his own and needs minimal help with others. This book is a great alternative to get boys doing stuff they enjoy and off video games.

... year old son and he has had lots of fun with it
Bought this for my 11 year old son and he has had lots of fun with it. The instructions were clear and he was able to follow many of them independently. He made several of the projects and then was inspired to think about how to make them even better. It was great to see his mind at work. A really good buy!

Great Ideas
As a former science teacher I thought this book was outstanding! Each project clearly explains the steps necessary to build it. As well there is a complete, illustrated materials list. The photography is outstanding.

Stimolante per creativi
My 8 year son has completed half of the proposed projects in one week using common objects and without my help.He does not even understand English, so it is clearly written...

Not a kit - just instructions
Thought it was more of a kit. Perhaps I didn't read the description properly. Nephew was happy any way.
