Regularly buy from the series of books about the adventures of a cat and a dogfor a three year old. So far she's loved them all. The bright illustrations alongside a story about the funny adventures they have which are told in verse are ideal for 3 to 5 year olds.

My 3 year old daughter loves this series, with repetitive words that make it easy for her to remember the story for when she is reading to herself. Characters from previous books can make a appearance, which I find nice as it links all the stories to each other. We brought this one, to add more Hairy Maclary Stories to our little collection that we have, and have not been disappointment.
