Big boy rad make sure you have the space

This radiator is impressively big. The tanks on the sides are large, and the flow is unrestrictive. There is a good review online (thermalbench) that covers this in-depth. I used it for an external radiator setup, for which it’s perfect. It would be a nightmare in install inside a case. Radiator : 5/5. Caution: The seller I used was OnyxPC. The radiator was shipped in only its own box and arrived damaged. One end tank is dented inwards, causing the end g1/4 port to be angled. Some of the radiator fins were also crushed, I was able to refigure them with 2 flat headed screwdrivers. The seller also took an extra few working days before shipping even though the product is marked as Prime. Shipping and seller : 1/5.

I have this radiator on an Intel i7 5960X running at stock 3GHz with only one 140mm aerocool DS fan running at low speed, the other two crapped out on me, but that is a different review. Idle temp is usually 28-33C depending on ambient. It usually hangs around 40C while running Witcher 3 and Doom at max settings. The second one is on a single Asus GTX980 Poseidon and that thing never goes over 55C. It's been a year with no leaks and great flow rate, you can't go wrong with this thing if you are willing to spend the monies. The picture has all three fans running, yeah, temps were even better then.

5950x out to this 420 out to a 6950xt red devil to 2 480 rads and repeat. Fit well in the top of a 1000d.

Thanks to the gratuitous number of ports on this, it didn't fit in my case without buying slimmer g1/4 stoppers than what comes with the radiator, and even then, it's a squeeze. Turns out it was the kind of squeeze that turned the stopper and made it leak, so now I have to disassemble literally everything... and these too-cool-for-school, port tapping maniacs give you hex screws. Everything that's extra about this is a pain. Looks like they ran out of paint in the first inch of the radiator, so I've got a fair amount of bare, ready-to-oxidize copper. Literally every alpha cool product I've touched has had unexpected shortcomings, never again.
