Would this be good for a nail salon?

This fan is an absolute beast at moving air and odor but is very loud. So to answer your question it will be very effective at removing odor from your salon but you may not want to use it while customers are there unless you want to chase them away.

Rugged design

Works excellent. And the design is great. Tuff exterior shell can withstand drops and jobsite abuse. Moves good air in confined spaces. Comes with a cord and a waterproof switch. Cord can also be wrapped up neatly and has a carrying handle.

More bark than bite

The unit has a decent amount of pressure but is SO loud it sounds like a jet. You can hardly talk over it when you are upstairs and its in the basement! I have other squirrel cage fans which move more air and are way more quite. Its also Way Way bigger than it looks! Its not something you would sit in front of to keep cool for sure its really only meant for drying out areas or moving air that needs to be exhausted. Seems well built and had no issues. If the rating were meant purely for the application its for I would give it 5 stars.
