Q: Does this knife come with BD-1 or 154CM steel? The description says BD-1 but the image shows 154CM.

The lightweight version has BD-1 steel. The heavier version (Black G-10, steel liners) used to have 154CM steel, but they've switched to S30V.

Q: Is this knife assisted opened, or just plain with no assist?

who needs an assisted opened? When you can flick it open just as fast.

Q: Is this the newer version with Torx pivot adjustment?

The only way to know, would be if you either knew the date it was made, or if you got someone to examine the knife before shipping. Since this is Amazon, I can tell you that's unfortunately not going to happen, sorry. I can tell you that at least some Amazon customers, beginning in December, have received the adjustable pivot Manix 2 Translucent, but that's no guarantee.

Q: Does it have a compound grind like in the photo or is it a full flat grind?

Looks like they finally got the photo fixed. As of 1/26/2018 the picture is correct.
