I am new to castor oil so not sure how this one does compared to others. Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised how it helps my eyebrows and hair grow thicker. The scent was not too overpowering which is a plus. It's definitely on the thicker side, so I wouldn't recommend putting on your face.

OMG I LOVE THIS OIL!! buy it.. buy it.. buy it, I have a short pixie cut it lays my hair down and keeps it looking and feeling healthy the shine is amazing and a little goes a long way ....its great as a scalp oil too, Ive also noticed less shedding and thicker hair growth, and it smells amazing , I wish the bottle was bigger...lol

Here's the caveat..... I initially purchased this for my hair but instead I found a better use for it. Along with other facial moisturizers, I use this along with 41% petrolatum active ingredient for my face and neck. I love the smell and feel of the fragrance infused into this castor oil. It's done wonders for my face and neck. I also place an extra (smaller than pea size drop) for my eyebrows and eyelids. I must say that my eyebrows are thicker and lashes are longer. Keep in mind that I am able to tolerate this product on my eyelids and close to the eyelashes. This very well may irritate many peoples eyelids closest to the eye. This was more a trial and error for me and I found that I can tolerate this on my lashes. Everyone reacts differently to products. My purchase was also related to amazon reviews and that of those reviews of this product posted onto Youtube. I wish you luck. 4 Mar 2024 -- I may purchase this more often to continue the use on my face, neck, and shoulders, but now for my hair. I finally took the leap and placed this oil onto my scalp and hair. Granted (it depends if you want to have a heavy layer of this oil on your scalp and hair), I had kept this oil in my hair for several days. Sure it looked a bit greasy after placing in pony-tail, and using a come to even out the hair strands. But I didn't care. So, when I finally washed my hair, I must say I didn't have any hair loss after using a brush hair dryer and I feel the hair looks healthier. I will continue to do this on the days I don't work. However, I must say from my previous review, that having used this in conjunction with the 41% Vaseline content on my face, I have noticed that I now have very fine baby hairs growing on my scalp where I had previously lost hair on beginning of the forehead. It's not overnight but it does work. Another word on this castor oil. I a considerable amount of gray hair coming from my hairline, but I must say that the new baby hairs that are growing, are black, not gray....so hip hip hooray !

I’ve used castor oil for years and quality really matters. Haiti is known for producing some of the best castor oil, and Kreyol Essence delivers. The biggest surprise for me was the scent — castor oil usually smells strong, but the papaya version smells amazing and makes it enjoyable to use. I use this on my hair, face, and hands, and I also mix it with essential oils when my kids or I are sick. The glass bottle and cold-pressed quality give me confidence in the purity. It is on the pricey side, so I still buy larger, more affordable brands for heavy use, but this one is perfect for targeted, high-quality care. Highly recommend if you value clean sourcing

This stuff is actually re-growing my hair. I started thinning up top, as most men do. My friend - a Haitian woman, recommended it. I'm legit shocked at how quickly it started to work. I also use it on my skin and it's amazing.

I normally would give this 5 stars from past experiences but this new bottle something is different the color is lighter and the burnt coffee smell is not there and it seems not as thick probably want purchase anymore.

I tried it and mixed it with rosemary, and avocado oil . I started seeing new baby hair around my edges. It smells great, easy to use, not too greasy. It keeps my hair moisterized all day . Its a little small but totally worth the money 💰

This oil is absolutely divine. It has a fresh minty scent and leaves hair feeling soft and hydrated. I will definitely buy more in the future. By far the best castor oil I have ever purchased!

Highly recommend. I washed my hair on alternate days. When my hair is almost 90% dry (including my scalp), I mixed 3 drops of castor oil with few drops of (100%) Rosemary oil & few drops of (100%) Lavender oil on my palm. I will dab and massage gently on my receding hairline on my forehead and areas where my scalp are exposed (due to hair loss). Repeated similar process almost 3 months. Last Sunday night, I discovered a lot of baby hairs appeared.. My son had the same results. Both of us jumped in joy !! Now, my 2 sister in laws are trying them.

Bought for my mom who reports that this is good quality and authentic though scented. Would purchase again.
