Big difference between other protein powders the quality and feeling in your stomach, I found my forever protein powder! Love it!

I'll start by saying that I'm drinking protein shakes to control hunger and lose weight. I do work out between 3-5 days a week and I don't need to gain muscle ( just want to look toned). So, like most people I bought my first protein powders at Walmart (Body Fortress brand chocolate and vanilla) thinking that all whey protein is the same. Chocolate one tasted almost rancid, vanilla wasn't much better either. I drank these nasty shakes daily thinking that it's just how it is and had awful gas, which didn't go away as time went on ( I thought my body had to get used to it and it will go away eventually) and I felt bloated. Needless to say, I stopped drinking them for a year and threw them away.This time around I did a lot of research prior bying another whey protein powder. I learned the difference between isolate and concentrate whey protein and decided to try Naturals Factors Whey Factor Double Chocolate. I got the package 2 days ago. First, just the smell of it is superb when you open container. I made my first shake and could not believe how tasty it was. It blends very easy in blender. What drew me towards this brand was the low sugar content (less than 1 g), actually there are no sugars added, no artificial sweeteners, GMO free, free of growth hormones. Protein content is 15 g per serving. And best thing is that my gut and digestive system are loving it! No more uncomfortable gas and bloated belly. My advise for everyone is you get what you pay for, do your research and read the labels! Apparently, market is flooded with whey protein that's good for nothing, loaded with heavy metals like lead and other additives and lots of sugar!

I use this as part of my recovery routine cycling - it has a noticeable improvement in next day performance when I use this with Skim Milk as compared to chocolate syrup and milk for recovery. I also add a banana or other fruit with this after a ride or trainer session. No negative effects on my stomach / digestive system, no weight gain just help with recovery. I switched from my chocolate milk made with chocolate syrup when I realized the syrup was may with high fructose corn syrup. With the fruit and this I get carbs and protein to refuel for the next day.The taste of this is very good, very similar to my chocolate milk flavor when made with the syrup. It does dissolve pretty well in milk (I use 1 scoop to a large glass of milk) with vigorous stirring, but there are a few clumps that I need to mash with the stirring spoon consistently. It would probably be better if I tossed the banana, milk and scoop in the blender for a smoothie but haven't had a chance to try that yet. I'd add a star if it dissolved perfectly with minimal effort, but for now I am very happy and will continue using this.

This is it, the ultimate protein powder! After scouring around for proteins on two separate occasions, I came back to this brand.I bought it a while ago after doing some extensive research and had no problems, but maybe I didn't feel like I was gaining as much mass as I should have. Now I seriously doubt that any of my concerns about mass are from this powder, and I have gained a considerable amount of muscle anyway.On account of my misled belief, I looked around for proteins again. There are cheaper proteins on a $/gram basis, but good luck finding one of these proteins with the customer ratings of this protein or the consistent positive ratings on taste. On top of that, this protein is about as natural as it gets. It has none of the bad artificial sweeteners that some say will interfere with the protein.And as far as taste this stuff is delicious. With water it's fine, and with any type of milk it's like creamy flavored milk...any of their flavors are good. The best tasting protein powder I've ever had...maybe one of the best flavored milk mixes I've ever had! It's a nice light flavor, but you get the vanilla or chocolate flavor and no processed taste.So maybe you have to cough up a few extra bucks and it would be nice if there were a 5 lb. bucket...but you can rest assured that this is the best quality out there.

Great product to get protein w/out all of the additives. I use it every day and I love it, this is my breakfast substitute. Note that I had been buying this at the local health store for years and decided to check Amazon - 33% cheaper here.....
