Not perfect, but for $6, well worth the money. Get this if the $40 collar is too much.
Worked very well. I used this collar with my 3 mo. old Cocker Spaniel. It did not stop the fleas completely, but did noticeably reduce them. She also didn't get any ticks where a Mini Schnauzer in the same area without a collar picked up a few. For $6, compared to the other brands, I can't complain. The $40 collar, which I sure works better, was too much at the time. This is a good enough collar if $40 is too much.

Don't waste your money... On anything else!
Being surrounded by open fields and thick woods in the middle of no where, I wasn't expecting this to be the best of the best or last longer than a month. But after 6 months of rolling in the long grass multiple times a day and walking through woods, she didn't get a single flea, tick or rash. Definitely recommend this!

Works for my 3 dogs. Make sure to follow instructions!
I replace the collars every 2 months instead of every 7 months because my dogs are constantly swimming and being bathed.Make sure you're following instructions before putting collar on your dog. Stretch the collar and fit it snug on their neck.

Does the job.

Hit or miss
This doesn’t help much getting rid of fleas. I even find some under the collar. Time to try another brand.

Collar doesn't work in my experience
I used this collar in combination with multiple products and it didn't help at all. (And I waited a few days for its full-effect to kick in.) -- I guess it was worth a shot, but I'd rather have saved time and just got Seresto's $59 collar that reviews and some coworkers tell me it actually works.

Seems to work
We used to give our dog some horrible toxic pills to prevent fleas, mosquito bites, & ticks. Finally she got so sick we had to stop. Turns out this collar seems to work just fine. We have used these collars for a couple years now with no fleas or ticks or problems from mosquito bites. Just sorry we ever gave her those tablets, because she seems to have permanent serious health issues from them. And they were very expensive. I don't know what we were thinking, giving her poison pills. I really don't know how vets can prescribe that stuff.

It worked great
I have an area of woods bordering my property. This spring my dog started coming back in the house with ticks on him. I put the collar on and never saw another one. Thankfully, I haven't had issues with fleas in the few years I've been here but it was nice knowing the collar was on just incase they too had become an issue outside this year.
