Absolutely beautiful pelican! Purchased for my mom for Mother’s Day, I know she will love it! She’s a beach LOVER! Every room in her home is beach themed and pelicans are her favorite beach bird! The pelican is not attached when it arrives. There are 2 little holes where the legs go, when I put it together I thought it wasn’t going to fit, I had to gently pull one of the legs over to fit and was worried about it breaking but it didn’t. I think it’s like that on purpose so the pelican stays tightly and doesn’t fall off. My mother will keep her pelican inside but if you purchase to put outside you will definitely need to apply a waterproof sealant on it. It is also lightweight. It’s painted beautifully and made of wood but I’m not sure what kind! Awesome price, definitely worth it! I love the fish in his beak!

It was cute but we'll see if it holds up in the weather as it's out on a piling by the mailbox. It was a replacement for another that was there for 5 years. It was a little smaller than I expected but not too small. It looks good.
