It's going to work out well
I've been using the saw a little and it's going to work out fine. The handle feels very sturdy, the blade came tight and the teeth cut well.I needed to replace a folding saw in my pack of tools for working on fruit trees: for cleft grafting, pruning, etc. This one is very compact and light. It also locks closed, not tearing up everything in my pack, and that's one reason I went with this one. The price was also very good.Sometimes, I have to saw branches or stubs in very tight spaces with very little movement, across only a few teeth, and the saw did well. Even though the tooth size and set seem kind of aggressive, it doesn't seem to leave a ragged, messy kerf. There will still be some things that require a fine tooth saw, this one will do well for the larger cuts, though. Like most of my tree tools, I clean and sanitize it between trees with rubbing alcohol and coat it with a tiny bit of food grade mineral oil before I put it away.

Great blade, cheap handle
I purchased this for the Japanese carbon steel blade. The blade is very good, it cut through a 5 inch log without effort. The handle, however, is made of cheap plastic. Whenever I try to close the blade, it does not even sit squarely to fold into the handle, and I have to play with it each time I want to close the blade. I do not expect the handle to last, and the blade, regardless of its high quality, will be useless without a handle.

I am, by no means, a handy person. I'm a retired woman with no experience with most tools. I had saplings popping up all over that I never attended to, so started with those. Next, I tackled some tree limbs. Piece of cake. Lastly, I cut down what I'd call chokecherry trees with 3" trunks. I feel so accomplished and proud. I am blown away by this little gem. But, I'm a newbie at this, so have nothing to compare it to.

Lightweight saw that cuts well.
It is working well on some small tree branches in the yard. Look forward to using it hunting and camping this fall. Nice and lightweight, will fit well in hunting backpack. Hope to use it on some elk or deer bones this fall.

Much better than expected!
Good little hand saw especially for the price. I had another saw around the same price point that was much more flimsy. I've only made a few cuts with this but it's definitely much better than expected

Great so far
Great so far. Have been able to easily cut through roots and branch. I'll have to wait and see how long it lasts.

The saw cuts good. After the second use the nut and bolt that holds the two pieces together fell out. The nut was lost. After getting a replacement nut and bolt, with a nut that won't loosen so easy, I will enjoy the saw.
