Nice machine...HORRIBLE MANUAL.
The machine is well built and to my great surprise, quiet. Works as anticipated but the Japanese manual is horrible. Whatever happened to the good old days when manuals were legible and in a user-friendly size font? I've learned more about operating it from Youtube videos than the terrible excuse of a manual. Good machine - I've only had it a few days though so time will tell. No complaints yet -

Performs well!
I like that this scan-n-cut performs the tasks and advertised. The downloadable manual gives clear, helpful instructions. On the downside (not with the machine itself), is the difficulty in finding accessories and replacement parts, the high cost of each, and the inability to interchange accessories across different models.

Something fun to do, make Boxes!
I purchased this machine because I had an idea for Christmas. I wanted to make 44 different size boxes. I put money in the smallest size box and put a label with one of my Kids or Grandkids' names. I put that box inside another box and put a different name on that. I did that until the fourth (largest) box. The fourth box did not have a name on it. I let everyone take a box. When they opened it, they had to hand the box to the person whose name was on it.

VERY NICE MACHINES.
I USE THESE MACHINES NEARLY EVERY DAY. I SELL ON EBAY, MAKING STICKERS OF ALL SIZES AND THIS MACHINE DOES A GREAT JOB. I PURCHASED THIS ONE AS A SPARE JUST IN CASE MY OTHER ONE GOES BAD ON ME. I ALSO HAVE LEARNED NOT TO PURCHASE USED MACHINES. I WENT THRU THAT WITH 3 USED ONES AND THEY WERE JUNK. BUY NEW...IT'S ALWAYS YOUR BEST BET.

Awesome Machine, Confusing to Set Up
I got this so I could transfer SVG files into the cutting software. It works fine, but when you go to set up the wife, there are no instructions, so you have to search through the settings and find wifi and figure it out from there. Then the free online Borther software wants you to register the machine, and you have to find that in the options of the software, then the software wants a number from your machine, that is located in the settings, then you have to find a pin which is also located in the settings. It's doable, but wow that's a lot to figure out with no instructions. Otherwise I think you can just transfer files using a USB, or a hardwire connection from the machine to your computer.

More than I even expected it to be!
I bought this to cut my stamped images for card making. It's, honestly, the best crafting purchase I've ever made. It's opened up a whole new world of cards, stickers, & perfect placement. My only gripe would be that the it's not as easy to use my already purchased svg files. I do have another machine/software that I can use, but I'd rather use the Scan 'n Cut because of the autoblade.

Absolutely terrible
I've had this now for about a year and have tried multiple times to make it do what it's literally called. Scan n cut sounded great. Just print out whatever, scan, and then cut. Simple, right? Not with this. It doesn't recognize obvious boarders. And the mat has no stick. I had to purchase a new mat because the one that came wit the machine had lost its stick before it even arrived to me. Dealing with customer service was a nightmare. This model does not have a print and then cut option, which might have made it bareable. I am literally throwing it in the trash because it's so useless and wouldn't even gift it to my worst enemy.
