1" OD, maybe 1-1/16" and the clamp protrudes a wee bit on one side. The spout is 3/4" NPT male threads

will this fit VP C25 cans and Q16 cans?

If its a VP 5 gallon pail yes. It threads onto the plastic neck of the 5 gallon VP pails.
