I use the sprayer multiple times every day in my small dairy and there are lots of things I like about it compared to my previous sprayer. I particularly like the 1/2" hose which is much less prone to freezing in cold weather. It's definitely sturdy and has a good pressure release button, which was another thing on my previous sprayer that was poorly designed. I only use the sprayer for a few seconds each time so a full tank lasts for a couple of weeks but I found that it would lose pressure as soon as the water level dropped below the end of the pump cylinder. As shown in the photos, I've modified the unit by gluing a piece of ABS pipe onto the end of the pump cylinder so the water level has to drop much further before it losses pressure. This works well. If you do this be aware that ABS cement doesn't work well. A 2-part epoxy is more effective.

Haven’t used the sprayer yet but bought as a replacement for my previous one only one negative make sure that you clean the screw thread every time you refill as a tiny piece of sealant will make the sprayer unusable

This Chapin compression sprayer is built like a tank and performs flawlessly. Being made in the USA, the quality is immediately apparent - heavy-duty materials, solid construction, and attention to detail throughout. The 2-gallon capacity is perfect for various tasks without being too heavy to carry when full. The compression pump builds pressure quickly and maintains it well throughout use. The spray wand provides excellent control with adjustable nozzle settings from fine mist to stream. I use this for everything from applying cleaning solutions to watering plants to pest control applications. The tank is translucent so you can see the fluid level, and the wide mouth opening makes filling and cleaning easy. The seals are high quality and don't leak - I've had zero issues with pressure loss. The shoulder strap is comfortable for extended use. All components feel robust and designed for long-term professional use rather than disposable consumer grade. This is the kind of tool that will last for years. Worth every penny for the quality and reliability.

I am an older avid gardener who has 4 manual sprayers and one electric ( milwaukee ) I go though no less then one a year. So I think think I know alot about sprayers. I just recieved my first Chapin 26021XP Pro Series Poly 2-Gallon Sprayer and let me tell you it far far better in every way then the other manual sprayers. Every aspect about it is next level. It might be more then the box store ones but OMG is it better. I think in fact it is cheap considering the quality. I may not know how it will will be in years to come but I will bet it out last all the other junkers I have. I cant wait till they fail and fail they will so I can replace them with more like this one.
